I wish its true, We are not the only living beings, that have emotions, that fell pain, that are intelligent, Elephant, Like chimpanzee, and Orangutan, lions, dolphins and many others, have such qualities, and they help maintain the forest, they help enrich it, and ensure its stronger.

Why are we always hungry and helpless, we are suppose to take care of them.

You can go to jail for this.

I happy that we still have these giants among us.
Pls, the government should make law to protect them

Amazing stuff. But how come the locals did not know that they had elephants? These are massive animals and they make a massive trumpet noise. How come nobody knew that they were in a certain area. What else is out there that we don't know?
Lions

The locals are aware of the elephants. And they actually hunt them occasionally. But because Rivers state is a huge underdeveloped cesspit, brown envelope journalists hardly cover anything from there. Remove PHC, some part of bonny and Eleme, then you'd see a mismanaged and underdeveloped shithole populated by illiterates and semi-literate criminals.

Wike should capture the Elephant and donate it to a reputable Zoo before those who can't confront herdsmen ravaging their land donate it's tusks to the Chinese

Sorry what they using the tusks for?

I hear many people talk about it on this thread

The just sell them as decorations. Some use the horn of big animals because they falsely believe it will give them better erections.

Very foolish pipo undecided

if they take off the tusk, it will be over for the elephant. Especially if it's a male. They need that tusk for fighting & to attract female elephant for mating . I believe it's a male, that is why he is alone.Female don't live alone

That elephant is huge, fully matured and poses a hazard. In a location where oil workers are situated, that animal will pick them off in singles or in one go. The people should hunt it down for both meat and ivory. If the white man cares he should come and pick the animal himself.
Re: African Elephants Sighted In Ikuru, Rivers State (Photos) by ensamy(m): 12:01pm On Sep 22, 2021
It migrated from South Western Cameroon or Cross River state or Akwa Ibom or Osun state or Ondo state.

What Nigerians destroy their fathers’ houses for morsels? Are you referring to the same Nigeria where fathers houses abounds everywhere and you cannot move for fathers houses impeding upon your line of sights in towns and villages? The Nigeria I grew up where people work or hustle very hard daily to create Fathers Houses legacy for their children or travel to all sorts of godforsaken foreign countries to work so they can send money back to their loved ones and extended families?

Please, if you’re a Nigerian and you experiences have been ones of depravity, own up to your misery by personalising your personal suffering. If you or your relations destroy and murder yourselves for morsels, I’m sorry for you. If you’re not Nigerian then stop expressing as facts what you don’t know or don’t superimpose the depravity you’re accustomed in your country on Nigerians, we’re not the same as you. Africans are not all the same.

If Nigerians were good people who appreciated hard work there won't be such widespread corruption or millions running off to "godforsaken" countries just to survive.

While you continue to deceive yourself online there's probably one girl being beheaded so her parts can be used for money rituals.

Yẹn, yẹn yẹn... that you decide to play the ostrich doesn't hide the problem. You are a part of the disgusting generation of savages roaming Nigeria. Every one of you know that your shit hole country is a jungle where daily survival is a huge gamble. Not due to natural disaster but u to your fellow Nigerian picking you out as a target to rob, rape, kidnap for ransome or body parts, Careless drivers, big bellied police and other millitary officials going berserk and killing. Your national airforce even strikes y'all dead instead of fighting off your negroid islamist fanatics sponsored by your leaders. and deny it only to later admit and tag it an error. grin grin. See how y'all murder yourselves, eat faces, steal female pants, baby diapers, grin harvest organs, y'all even kill your parents for quick money kidnapp and rob each other like wild animals in a dark jungle. Bomboclat grin
