Good csr project, when business is booming ,giving back to the community is a good idea.
It promotes goodwill and brings more business patronage.
Also considering the fact that the school would have been funded from funds from his followers, it is a win-win, he takes the shine at no Financial cost

If the school would be self sustaining, they can charge for basic things like uniforms, cleaning etc, but not tuition. That's fair enough by me.

How else are they gonna pay the staff, keep the school clean etc? Not-for-profit doesn't mean, not to function.
