I've always experience heavy flow ever since I started menstruating until the 4th days. However this month, I realized that my flow isn't as heavy as usual and there was only a trace of blood on the 3rd day which is very unusual.

I've Googled it online and I found out that little exercises I'm doing at home recently plus stress could be the reason and I'm so worried, because I'm still a very young lady.

Health practitioners in the house, pls, I need your opinions on this.

Have you given birth before?
Did you change your diet too?

Exercise has an effect on menstrual flow but I'd suggest you see a gynaecologist. It is not a luxury but a necessity to any menstruating and menopausal woman.

You're experiencing hormonal imbalance, it will correct itself as you maintain ur regular healthy lifestyle, minimize stress this time around!

It's nothing to worry about

You've no idea how relieving your comment is. I was damn scared because I thought it's one of menopause symptoms. I'm just 22 for cry out loud. And as for stress, hmmm.... It's something I can't prevent even if I have to. Sch stress is always there.

Are you overweight?
Have you been sexually active?
Have you taken contraception/birth control recently?

Haba! grin

For menopausal symptoms, it can become so irregular. It might not even present spotting, it will just go off for months while the person will be thinking she has attained menopause, only for it to just appear suddenly again.

Just try to minimize.

Your body is indirectly telling you that the level of stress it's experiencing as a result of ur daily activities is getting rooted at some target parts of ur body.

My dear, it's normal. Most ladies have experienced change in their menstrual cycle at one point. It's usually caused by hormonal imbalance. It'll balance back. Don't worry yourself. However, if you want to know more about hormonal imbalance, you can have a free online session with a doctor here
