Most of this people that claim to study in Benin republic actually bought their certificate. I know of an olosho that drop out from a state university cos her cgpa cannot flash MTN number then in a matter of a year anty said she has graduated from Benin republic. Like how? Nysc has been denying her from serving since January. Now she has finally be given callupnumber this month. She is going for NYSC now. I did the needful by congratulating her

The reason for this obvious desperation to go to the university is what I cannot phantom.

Same here. The guy's parent knows about it and even paid for everything including school fees. The mother is only concerned about showing off to her friends that her son graduated and is now a corp member.

The federal university(UNIVERSITE D'ABOMEY CALAVI) is the best tertiary institution in the Benin Republic because you have to put in your best if you want to get a good result

Awon ti Benin republic graduates... A guy that we camped together could not mention the 6 Geo political zone during Mr Macho competition..Oya mention 3, he couldn't..Oya mention one state in North central, baba still couldn't. The anchor of the program said, no wonder you rushed down to Benin republic to buy 6 month degree... Benin republic universities are home to Yahoo boys and and runs girls. Sadly, you will hardly see any Beninoise attending these sham universities. 99% of the students are from Nigeria.

Benin Republic, Ghana,Cameroun, Ukraine, and some African Nations are headquarters of fake certificates for Nigerians. It is sad that NYSC knows that only graduates from accredited Universities can serve but often allow corruption to bypass the process. NUC needs to do the needful but the huge bribes from those Universities meant for only Nigerians only is killing our education.

You are advocating for the scrapping of the NYSC, the only Government body that is dedicated to the Nigerian Youth, the only one that is present in every State of this country and is positively touching the lives of our people in the villages and towns.
Call for better funding and new ways of improving on the gains of the NYSC. The call for scrapping the NYSC is old and tired.

The DG NYSC has changed a lot of things from what I have been told and seen in the media. Chief among his achievements is the banning of these Degree markets in some countries. Many of these fake graduates have no NYSC certificates because as they are discovered, their certificates are withdrawn by the NYSC. We need to assist the NYSC make these desperately needed changes and improvements.
