I regularly flash custom roms, Most of them don't come with gallery, plus I have been using the gallery for years now, hard to change.

Aside gallery app, don't you have a file manager? Your phone should come with one. Gallery is just to organise, manage and view your photos, it is not your phone storage. Except the app developer used the backdoor to delete your files, your photos should still be on your phone

With piktures, you can add all your cloud accounts, pulling all your pictures and videos, under one umbrella.......

You also have a secret space, for all those pictures and videos, you don't want your wife/gf, to see........ cheesy

Every android comes with a pre-installed gallery that cannot be deleted. What do you mean?

Did you leave the normal gallery to download another and grant modifying permissions?

Why didn't you use Google Drive? Some of this third party apps are not up to standard. This is one flaw with playstore.

It's as simple as ABC.

Just download Photos Recovery App from Playstore. It will restore all the pictures ever stored on your phone. Even the once you deleted before losing the app.

Relax, there is absolutely no cause for panic. I see you are not really tech savvy. The pictures are still on your phone. Just follow the instructions of the dudes below. Cheers.

Download file explorer and dig deeper........

No need panic.

1. Use Explorer.
Download and one and locate the DCIM folder

2. Connected your phone to PC and export to your PC

3. Open Xender and you'll see all your pictures there.

4. Download another gallery app or Google photos.

Your files are not stored in your gallery rather in your phone and memory card, just download your phone gallery access it

If you're using an Android 9 phone or earlier, there's still a solution. Download MI file explorer, and open the "<<Android" folder and then open "<<data". If you check properly (or you know the name of the app) you'll see the app's data file. It should have all your pictures, and you'd simply copy and paste them elsewhere.

If your phone is Android 10 and above, theres no show, as Google blocked access to app's data file on those OS versions. MI file explorer would state it in the folder sef.

Good luck trying this method, let's know how it goes.
