Deleted several pictures from my phone of my Girl Friend , my Best Female Friend because I needed space on my phone, the phone was hanging due to to little space left. I was a bit surprised I could delete her pictures. It means I've gotten over her after 4 years. I knew our friendship would not last because she was too focused about her life which is a mistake. She has an amazing woman with so many talents, was genuinely kind but the problem was she was extremely independent and focused. I used to tell her I was once like her, a One Woman Mopo but I changed because I saw I needed People. I was like her big sister and number one fan. I loved her and adored her like I've never done to any one , despite being just 4 years older than her I was like her mother , boyfriend and confidant. She went to England to sturdy Marketing and I would tell her that she already had a Degree and she was a fantastic business woman why did she want to invest in a degree that would add nothing mentally to her. She did not use me and dump me but rather she could not see she needed someone like me to become who see was meant to be. Despite being independent she still suffered from Society Complex. I feel had she being more open to my advice she would have achieved a lot of success. It's a case of so much talent but very small wisedom and too much Pride. Once she got to London and settled into school she distanced herself from me. I did not make a single mistake in our friendship, I was over considerate , kind and loving. I was like a boyfriend to her carrying so much off her load in life because I felt she deserved more because of her talent. I checked her up on Instagram and I saw she was selling so much of her property from her car, to her furniture to her paintings on her wall. She was never the type to sell anything she owned and one thing I admired about her was her ability to maintain things for years in good condition. I guess the cost of life in London made her start selling those items. I personally feel the world was in her palm and she through it away by not listening to people especially me. Everyone complained she was too focus and rigid in life. If she ever contacts me i will maintain friendship with her once again. She has the potential for greatness and she is not a bad person she is just too focused.
So when I see my boyfriend being so kind to me and wanting to do things for me I just smile because I've been there before. So I'm humble to my boyfriend and accept his advice. I'm not going to make the same Mistake my friend made by not listening to those that love her and trusting the world more than those that love you. I did not use the word former girl friend because I do not hate her and did not dump her. To her I'm her former friend but to me she's my friend. I still like her so see is not my former friend. Former friend is done when one has no feeling for that person again

I've been called an Attention seeker on Nairaland, but if I was seeking attention would I post this at 01:37 am ? Would I not wait to 9.00 am when Nairaland is awake ? What I am doing now is like dancing in the dark because no one can see me at this time. If I wanted attention I'd wait for people to be around to get that attention. Anyone who thinks I'm an attention seeker is a retard. At the end of the day it's plain bad Belle. Jealousy and envy that makes people focus on me as a person. I focus on topics but so many people are only concerned about focussing on me as person and the focus is negative, looking for flaws in my posts, looking for contradictions.

Young lady, the year is too young for you to bother yourself about what your best friend or people think about your innocent intentions. Get some sleep ok?

Ha ha ha !!! I clicked Like to your comment because I genuinely think it was funny. I have a job already and I don't really place emphasis on things like Christmas and New Year they are just days. I do not have Group Thinking or Herd Mentality so I do not know how to think in a box like so many people. Today is Sunday, should I abstain from Nairaland ?

I have set goals and I think you did not even see the Moral of the Entire thread that people should Not Be So Focussed to the extent they become Myopic and Small Minded. Too much focus makes it hard to see opportunity outside our focus. It's good to be focused but with an open mind. And I don't care about Christmas. Jesus came to the World and i am Grateful but I don't care about what day, what hour or minute He landed. New Year is just another day.

Issues of The Heart are Not inconsequential. Even Jesus says protect your heart because all life comes from the heart. I'm huge on Love and Relationships because that's life.
