ogugua88:

They were all sitting down, so how would you know their shape? Lol.

Based on the first video. Most of them were like that and the finals will likely be that shape too.

Nayah:

Ilkede everyine has his own tastes personally I' wouldn't give the title to any tribe in Nigeria for beauty because you can see them everywhere. Agbani Drego is a pure beauty and not from the North wink

The age of that pure beauty is gone. grin

So which of the contestants in the first video were also seen in the second? Definitely not all of them, if any at all, so you can't judge them on shape. I don't think I saw any of them with round faces, so my assumption would be that most of them had good shape.

I said most of them were that shape. And most of the women in those videos have that thin stick shape, so they're likely shapeless. But we shall soon confirm.
If Ms. Ekiti is really from Ekiti, she's likely going to have a sexy curvy shape.

ak47mann:

hmm, I'm a very happy woman, always. I just have a tolerant level that is very very low. So dont over assume based on what you read, omo nna.

Ileke I don't think so, I think there's difference between beauty and charm. Nigeria just has to be tougher in terms of beauty pageant

Is that so? We only saw their heads and parts of their arms, particularly those that were making numbers with their fingers lol.

Every woman really from Ekiti has sexy curvy shape abi? lol. Didn't you see that Miss Ekiti had to check her own fingers to make sure she was showing v14? In fact, she showed us 41.

Here are pictures of the contestants. Taraba state is it. Beauty AND she spoke well. Miss Ebonyi isn't the prettiest, otherwise I would've suggested her as she was very charismatic and confident.

Ileke don't be so difficult with Nigeria you see if you see Miss Cameroon you'd say the same thing! I think Africa doesn't have the same criterias as European or American

I don't think it's right to make fun of them. undecided
I believe this is like the Special Olympics, Beauty Pageant for Special people.

Ok, you're sounding angry. I dont deal with angry women.

Ok, Ms. Cam is ugly, no offense tho. LMAO. Wow, eww.
You're a beautiful woman, you should contest  grin

If the criterias for EUro/Ame are not the same (which will properly be the criteria sued world wide), how do they intend to win ms world?

How come I've yet to see a contestant from Africa with neatly kept natural hair?

Ileke by imposing our own criterias what do you think about that?
Miss Cameroon is not that ugly, and for real I think she's cute but not for the International criterias, many Cameroonians are gorgeous but they don't want to compete cause their parents don't want to.

As for me lol thanks for the compliment but I'm quite shapeful for that contest and big old too grin

Anyway yes these contestant should be average for International competiton, but I think it's time for us Africans, to impose our own sense of beauty

You're right. Contest like this wouldnt want a typical curvy African woman grin

I agree with you. If we could, what would our criteria be?
Re: Meet The Most Beautiful Girls In Nigeria Contestants! by Nayah(f): 5:01pm On Jun 21, 2011
Ileke first of all we have to define what we call beauty in Africa, what's beauty in Nigeria for example? a skinny woman? thin features only? theses king of questions have to responded first. Cause I've noticed Africans try to look like more and more to westerners, whereas every people on Earth has its own particularity, why should follow the others while we de naturate us?

Well I know it's first all about money and influence, but if we Africans stop thinking thin features means beauty, and accept that even a flat nose can be cute on a woman, we would do a great step. Take Omotola does she have a stinky nose? I don't think so but she's a beautiful woman.

Unfortunately, light skin equals beauty in Nigeria.

And ofcourse, small nose undecided

Even Diff regions in Africa have their own diff criteria for beauty.

Nigerian women don suffer o. The last thing I would have expected from NL women is demeaning and making fun of their fellow Nigerian women. This thread is evidence that women judge more harshly the looks of other women than men do. You will NEVER see a couple of guys analyzing the looks of another man in a competition. I just hope that Mr. Cork does not find this thread.
