I stay Lagos and I work from home since Covid started,last year I opened a 3bed for my mom in ogun state so she has been there with my brother so since 2021 have been living a very hard life I got sack and things begin to get more harder in the process I couldn’t renew my rent in Lagos because I still say in Lagos alone,so I went for a prayer session I was told the house I stay in Lagos is a scorpion house which it hard for people to progress there,now my rent will due soon and I don’t have money to pay up and my mom telling me to move in inside the 3bed since there is a room left but deep down am having a feeling at 30 can I still stay with my mom cos to me I fell somehow , but due to my no job I couldn’t even get another apartment

All you need is a job. The prayer house lied to you about your apartment. They knew you were vulnerable and needed a convincing answer to your curiosity.

1. You visited a babalawo who told you the house you are staying in is a "scorpion house", why you no ask your babalawo friend for the advice on what to do next since he would best know what you should do if you find yourself living in what he calls a scorpion house?

How did you manage to build a 3-bed house for your mom in Ogun and unable to service your rent barely a year after you lost your job? Why do nowadays youths feel that the smartest thing to do when they make their first million from an unsustainable source of income is to buy a house or a car for their parents?

You're about to throw your mother into different episodes of depression, sir. Since you loved your mom so much that you built her a house with your life savings, my advice* is to keep your troubles away from her. Don't feed her with stories of grace to grass. Stay where you are and start all over.

Accommodation is the greatest problem of man because it has no alternative

You can move down to stay with your mum while you figure out what you need to start doing

Forget about what people will say, it shouldn't be your problem

Your problem now is how to sort yourself out

Stay with ur mum for now hussle so u can stand on your feet and get your own apartment, Don't be ashamed that you are staying with your mum for the period you are trying to sort yourself, also keep your pride aside if you want to move forward in life.

Your loss of your job is only a phase. My advise is that pending when you get another job, move in with your mom. There's no big deal you live with your mom at 30.

The life of a man is not one way, there are certainly going to be issues along the way whether he built a house or had invested in business! The most important thing is there is even a house to fall back on, where he can reorganize himself & he will pick up.

Please ignore that person, he is fond of making senseless comments. The first house I built was at my place, the first house my brother built was also at our place, before we started building in city. There is nothing wrong in building a house for your mom, all u need now is to go back home & reorganize yourself. Once things start picking up, u won't even remember this experience.

See,this place u came to seek for advice is far better than that prayer house that is full yahoo pastors.

If u want to destroy your destiny quickly and sharply,prayer houses would offer such to any vulnerable fellow out there. 99% of them are yahoo pastors. They have no solutions to your problems avoid them and have peace.

You don't get to feel proud or feel somehow when you don't have money. It's only temporary. Hustle, get a job, save some money, and move.

Anyway, the advice you condemn so much is meant to shape is planning skills. I would have expected his mom or brother to help out at this stage, at least with moving to a cheaper apartment in Lagos, where he could stay and keep hustling. But of course, they're probably not in the best position financially to help and that leads me again to the issue of his planning skills.

Don't listen to those too woke generation o,it's very possible your location could be an hindrance to your progress,very possible,so many landlords built their houses foundations on unimaginable things...so relocate as soon as you can and it won't surprise you,you can get more paying job in any location other than where you're presently.

Na so. More reason you all need to stop buying cars and houses in your parents' name when you're not even sure of where your next meal will come from.
