Having lost over 10m to investment scams last year, I came to the late realization that EVERY scheme promising you high ROI is a scam.

Think about it… where does the profit come from? Is it created by magic or what?

So, for instance if 1bn is put in this investment scheme and 2bn is paid out, where did the extra 1bn come from?

You cousin sister has lost the money; it is gone. Money doubling and high yield investment schemes are all ponzis! ALL of them !

I’ve written off my loss and have bounced back because I didn’t bother trying to run after the thieves. It was my greed and naivety that led me into it and I take full responsibility for my actions. Your sister cousin should do same

I'm telling you, one of my colleagues at work, was telling me about these WhatsApp investments. I look at her with disgust as old as she is, can't believe she could still fall for this shit.

Desperation is a terrible thing.

You should be asking us where to carry your sister go for brain surgery.... Not how to recover the money back,because am doubting if she dey normal

Today my cousin sister schooling at uniben just called me this afternoon and was crying on phone that someone just scammed her on WhatsApp.

According to her,she said that she meet the girl on a WhatsApp group and the girl convinced her that there is an investment scheme that she will invest 5000 to get 10000 within 30 minutes.

Because of her naivety,she sent the money to the girl, the girl later told her that the one of 5k is no longer available that the remaining slot available to invest is 10k, so she told her to send extra 5k to balance it. She still sent the money to her.

After everything has been done, she said that my sister must send extra 7k to claim her 45k.
She still sent the money to the girl hoping that she will get the money.

Immediately she sent sent her the money, she started giving my sister excuses and later blocked her on WhatsApp.

Is there any hope that if i report the account to the bank for fraudulent activity.
Can the money be recovered or should i just tell her to forget It and move on?
she has sent me all their chats and evidences.

Moderators should help me and push it front to page.

] send a mail to the fraud department of your bank about the transaction with all the evidence you have to prove! You don't even need to go to the bank. With my interactions with the fraud department of my bank I got back my 50k back from the scammer.
