Your determination will take you to any height you can imagine. You need to have a positive mindset firstly with STRONG determination. With your age, I personally will advice you go back to school and seek admission and while doing that, try to learn a soft skill.

Make sure you put yourself into a skill that is passion driven, no matter how people see it. It will take you places. I don’t know your financial strength, so I would stop here.

I was on my way home after doing labouring work to pay my acceptance fee and school fees. I didn't know that a man was kidnapped closer to the place. We were four that was arrested. We were asked to pay a huge sum for bail. Those that have payed but, my mother didn't have that amount. I was there for three days before, before they forced me to write a statement that I am a kidnapper. That same day I was taken to pH high court and the magistrate adjourned the case.

That’s what I need you to erase. You have to build and start from somewhere. Work on integration with present reality facing you. Look for loopholes you are confident you can explore. You need to decide. Take your time and don’t jump into just anything out of desperation. Sit down, relax and think.

Do a SWOT analysis of yourself

Strength; what are you good at that can earn you money?, what do you love doing, what skills do you have, what skills can you learn, how much do you need to earn to sustain yourself and achieve your desirede goal


Weakness; what is causing you negativity? Is it lack of motivation?! How can you motivate yourself thinking of how far you've gone at just 20 years, the experience and all,. How religious are you and do you pray?!, Do you have habits like excessive drinking, use of drug , womanising and other vices that can delay you from achieving your goal



Opurtunity; who can help you, what can your leverage on, what connection do you have, can you still get a labour job to sustain yourself, who can train and mentor you, what opportunities can you get through others


Time;. What do you want to achieve before this year runs out, what do you want to achieve before 30.... Set a time based goal and work towards it

3, get some presentable clothing
4 move to anywhere you can get your minial job , then earn for like a month
4, save and support your mum a little at least power bills then , fix your wardrobe , sub , body lotion and cologne
4, apply for a job you know you can handle and start a par time course , the rest is lengthy but being prudent and having endurance will earn you your degree you wish for ,

Bro be realistic the country is so messed up, you hardly find it difficult to make 2k daily, and if you lucky to earn more daily, is either feeding or transport take half of the income. I know many who earn below 1k daily.

Op will forever be scared to work at %100 efficiently in this country, especially thinking about how he landed in prison in the first place, he’s likely to develop a phobia of associating as a result of his trauma.

My advice to him, do what ever gives you peace of mind and sense of belonging till God surprises you, don’t let anyone give one useless bearing that is not very realistic, wait on nature, God or anything you believe on, probably for a start up

Go learn mechanic work.

It might take you up to 2 years to master the work to a reasonable extent. You just have to be loyal and humble.
