Anambra State has the largest gas reserve in Africa

Possibly Imo state now. I know that a few years ago it was Anambra.

But one thing is clear. Anambra and Imo have the largest gas reserves in Nigeria.

That was why APC tried their damn best to take over Anambra a few months ago, but the Anambra man's psyche is almost impossible to crack.
Ndi Anambra ensured that not even one LGA voted for APC. Soludo will mount the helm in a few days time

And it's mostly in the South East region, no?

At the current price of natural gas, it means Nigeria has more than 1.2 trillion dollars worth of gas. The only reason why this country would never separate is because of the oil and gas reserves. The north would never allow Nigeria to split.

With the recent global trends in natural gas, everyone will have to take the Igbos seriously now! They are the future and will never be pushovers for Nigeria like we so-called fools of the south-south. Seen how prosperous and blessed the SE would be in the nearest future, the time is now for other Nigerians to allow the SE region occupy the number one position in the country, so we can all have peace and move on to more incredible things.

God does have a mocking sense of humor. After the Biafran war, the Eastern Nigeria was balkanized and gerrymandered to the chagrin of the Igbo people. Swats of lands were carved to the North (Kogi and Benue), West (Edo) and South in a bid to reduce the size of the Igbo territory, strangulate her political influence and covet her mineral resources. All this was strategic to keep Ndi Igbo in perennial servitude and subjugation.
Even her coastal Kiths and kins were not left out in the alliance to keep Ndi Igbo on her knees as the disparaging remarks like "Our Oyel, Abandoned Property, We are South South, We are Niger Delta, We are not Igbos" filled the air.
Identity crisis amongst her children became the order of the day as grown men and women with traditional Igbo names denied their ancestry, while historical Igbo towns renounced their affinity by deviously corrupting the names to lesser Igbo lexicon. For them, they had to wash themselves clean of their Igbonness to be more Nigerian and acceptable.
God watched all these unfold with a sardonic smile and for those who remained truly Igbo a silver lining ran across the dark skies for them.
Today there's a global outcry and campaign for clean fossil fuel or energy, IOCs are restructuring their platforms to fit the prevailing realities, thus shifting their search lenses to energy sources that meets the standards. That search didn't take long to discover the vast warehouse of natural gas deposit in the Igbo heartland, ironically the region robbed of everything or so they thought, scorned and have its youths fleeing in mass for the greens on the other side.
Imo and Anambra state today holds over 80% of the gas deposit in Nigeria. Now we all know why both states are at the epicenter of the IPOB travails and why the government has opened a war front in their domain to keep the resistance from gaining momentum.

Everyone knows where the 37 billion barrels of crude oil reserves is situated in Nigeria (Niger Delta).
Abeg, where is this 209.5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas reserves located in Nigeria. Is it South South states or South East states?
Everything about this gas reserves is always shrouded in secrecy. No mention of location

There is a reason it is shrouded in secrecy, your federal government wants it to be shrouded in secrecy because of it's location; They won't hesitate to tell Nigerians where oil is discovered in Nigeria, but when it comes to gas, they cleverly report the quantity discovered without mentioning the location, because to them Nigerians are so docile they can't research or find it out on their own. Imagine some person/people on this forum claiming that Imo is not part of S. South and as a result not in Niger Delta and that they are from Niger-Delta, that is how your government wants you to think, they want you to think like idiots and I know you are wiser than those of them in government talk less of an idiot. Ironically, every information is just a button click away; you can pretty much find anything by a click of the button. I 've lived outside Nigeria for almost twenty five years, yet I know more about events in Nigeria than some people arguing to be from certain locations. Which government agency is reporting this abundance of gas in Imo and Anambra states right now? Answer is none.

Anambra does not have gas but rather few oil wells. Nigeria has about 207trillion cubic feet of gas ,only Imo state has about 200trillion.
Imo has oil too. The future is bright for Imo, I envy them.

I wonder where you got your facts . It's Imo that had the highest gas reserve in Africa. Nigeria has 209tcf, Imo alone has about 202, other states like Akwa ibom, Abia are possess the remaining.
Anambra does not have gas even if Anambra has, it's minute or negligible. The minister of Petroleum confirmed that Imo has the largest gas reserve in Africa.
