I'm actually looking for an honest opinion on this two rides. For one thing I am an Acura lover. I'm currently using a TL and I'm saving for an upgrade. Most annoying thing about the ZDX is that it's so uncommon that you'll barely see any one that can give you a first hand review on it. Apart from all those online reviews.

I am still a student, so I don’t own a car yet but if you ask me, i would go for the Acura ZDX cause the car looks way cool too than the Benz glk....and also the Benz is way too common, I like unique stuff and to u said you initially had eyes on the ZDX so I would say go for the Acura ZDX..

There is a reason most people end up selling off their acura after 2 to 3 yrs including the uncommon ZDX.

Spare parts and fixing are also always on the expensive side even more than the benz not to mention the reselling value when you decide to give it up later.

Try benz and you will understand that khaki no be leather!!! �

It's just like Samsung and iPhone. IPhone must always get high value to Samsung or androids. Forget that useless acura zdx nonsense crossover. Odeh. Go for the benz ,drive it for a year or 2 then upgrade enter rav 4 2014. U buy zdx 4.5m. U later sell at a loss maybe 2.5m highest naija used.

ZDX is 4.5m? Are you sure you know what you're talking about. If you get a good zdx for 8m, jump on it. The best price you'll get is 10m.

That GLK isn't the best reliability-wise if that concerns you. In that respect, the ZDX wins.

However, parts for the ZDX are through the roof, that is the unshared ones. Plus the availability of these parts could also be a concern. In this regard, the GLK wins.

Want to turn heads? The rarer and curvier ZDX it is.

Las las, it boils down to what you want, your pocket, and importantly, the availability of both parts and technicians where you live.

The second-generation ML is also something you should take a look at. You might just fall in love

I attached the picture of my ZDX below. The car is giving me so much joy since 3 months that I bought it now. I've not visited my mechanic since then (except for issues with my other cars)
But after using this car for some months, I have a few advice for you.
1. Be ready for a lot of attention from friends and enemies. The car is so unique that people will notice you everywhere and they will keep saying they've not seen it before.
2. Have another small car that runs your dailies, that car won't suit well as a car that can be used to run domestic errands like quick fuel purchase or buy Suya at Junction lol
3. You should consider upgrading your car stereo to the more recent one. Acura has a branch company called Navtool, they sell the engine and will guide you on how to install it easily.
4. Have money for area boys, they won't stop chasing you and shouting baba oo
5. This is probably the most Important advice. If you're buying your zdx in Lagos, be very careful. I went to almost all the auto dealers at Lekki and Apapa and they don't have it and the few that have it are accidented. I had to spend almost $100 on checking vehicles history just to make sure I don't buy an accident car. Finally found this one. Its perfect but it was not cheap. But I didn't care, just want the best.

Every colour looks great on that car except the blue. And it was never made in blue but I've seen some painted to blue.
The black is actually the cutest. I was hoping to buy the black but couldn't find any that is good enough for me.

Acura ZDX is not uncommon, guess it has to do with your location . Is very common in Awka and Enugu town. Buy the red color of Acura ZDX saw one in Enugu, is so cute , was admiring it .

It's definitely very uncommon bro. Only 7191 was ever produced. That's how uncommon it is.

Though I like both but I will choose ZDX over GLK anytime, they aren't mates anyway. ZDX should be compared with ML not GLK.

In terms of durability and ruggedness,I give it to ZDX, though not adviseable to be used for everyday ride. I have been using MDX 2009(a brother to ZDX) for close to 3years now,have never had a single issue with it,so long as you have good maintenance culture and most importantly use the recommended fluids. I have used other brands and have friends who use other brands,I know what they are passing through.

So I will advice you go for ZDX and possibly have another small ride for day -day running around.
