I say things as they are.

You don't just give them only the good and pleasing ones and hide the bad ones.
Let them know everything they need to know, so that when they finally decide to move, they won't be taken unaware by any unforeseen circumstances or challenges.

That been said, answer this question sincerely, is the statement you stroked wrong or right?

Is there any state in Nigeria where killing for ritual is not happening? Mention your region and let's decide which city in that region is more safe and secure than Osogbo.

The part he stroke is wrong because the menace is all over naija now. Within three weeks ago Igbo guys killed their girlfriends for ritual. One in Lagos the other in the East. Some weeks ago too some guys killed and harvested the body part of their victim in the North (that one surprised me) I no know say aboki too dey do human ritual.

In a nut shell. You guys should stop all the labelling and know we should tackle the menace together as Naija ppl.
No region can say it is free of ritual crime.

Lol osogbo has changed now oo most people here are not current about happenings around osogbo. Transportation is the only thing that is relatively cheap compared to other southwestern states. Accommodation is already going on the high side in osogbo it ranges from 150k to as much as 500k depending on the facilities available and number of rooms in the house and the area. NB; G.r.a is not the only expensive area in osogbo, there are a whole lot of areas that a 2 bedroom flat( tiled and with pop) costs as much as 400k or 500k in osogbo. Someone was saying 300k is too expensive for a 2 bedroom in ilesha garage I laugh, maybe that was 2 years ago. There's 2 bedroom of 250k, 350k, and even 500k in that same ilesha garage. What of Kelebe area, Hallelujah Estate, ayekale, okebaale, dada estate, and so many other areas osogbo not like before. 150k is the price of self-contained not even 1 bedroom flat. Come to osogbo and see for yourself.

Osogbo isn't that expensive to live actually... Just have a source of income and you re good to go, if you have a means of transportation (like a car of your own/ bike). It will reduce the cost of tp from moving here and Dre. The house rent is affordable at least..

And rent sef is only typically cheap in places away from the centre where new areas are beginning to spring up.

I based in Osogbo, the cost of living in osogbo is more cheaper comparing to other town in the south western part of the country.

Since u have Ur car and accommodation is settled, u will have a smooth transition to Osogbo.

The city is peaceful, there is stable electricity and the road network is good also.

Born, bred and live in Osogbo, I can categorically tell you that with 100k per month and your own ride, you can live comfortably in Osogbo.

Tell them. I saw many of them saying that house rent is cheap. Actually, many of them served here as corpers many years ago and had gone back to their states. Some are indigenes of Osogbo but haven't lived in Osogbo for some years now. Why would they know the current situation?
I even laughed when they told the guy that he would live comfortably on 100k with family of three, food and other basic stuffs.

Are you saying you have never talked about the insecurity in the north, the war in Ukraine etc.?

If No, then you're an hypocrite, because what I said in that response is true and not false, it is not as if it's not happening.
It is prevalent over there(together with Ogun state) than any other place.

It can be likened to someone searching for an apartment in Benin, and someone advised them to be careful and mindful because of high rate of stealing over there or someone plying Abuja-Kaduna expressway and another tells him to be careful and mindful because of kidnappers.

It may be happening in other places but those areas are notorious places the acts are more prevalent

My family relocated from Kaduna to osogbo 8yrs back .....
So compared to Kaduna there's not really much in osogbo it's just peaceful .... House rent is high to an extend in osogbo ( yes house rent is high ) coat of transport is ok ... Food stuff is cheap when you go to the major market. ...

I stayed at kakuri and Kaduna ... I wasn't paying rent ... I just feel house rent is expensive in osogbo when compared to the money earn ....there's money in Kaduna na so even if the rent is higher it's still ok but no money in osogbo and rent is high ??

U can't compare rent in Kaduna south with kakuri. Houses are far cheaper in kakuri.
