Why My Target Is No Longer Heaven

It's because I'm now aiming for God's heart.

Though my initial target used to be heaven because the last thing I wanted to do, was to end up in hell.

But when I began to walk with God and got to know Him, I was like, what?

Are you kidding me?

Is this what I have been missing all this while?

To be honest, I wished I had gotten to know Him much much earlier, and if possible all through my whole life, because God is the best thing that I had ever known and the best thing that had ever happened to me, past, present and even future.

And that is not flattery by any means, infact it's a huge understatement, as mere words cannot even describe Him. He's just too good to be true.

I began to see why those that truly got to know Him in the past, wouldn't trade Him or His position for anything else, but would do or give anything to keep Him, because God just too much, walahi! So once you truly get a taste of Him, you'd never want to let Him go, because you become hooked for life, and just can't get enough of Him.

So despite that God wasn't my original target, having come to know Him, He has won over my heart, soul and mind, that my target is now to please Him and be as close to His heart as possible.

That's why my target is no longer heaven, but He who dwells in it.

And this has been my target for about 20 years now and still counting.

To God be the glory!

Be aiming for something imaginary and intangible. Why do we have so much variety of "God"? It's because he is dimensionless and he expresses himself/herself in various ways and dimensions. That in itself is imaginary. The problem with imagination is that it has the possibility of becoming real because everything that is real today came from imagination. So in the realm of imagination, "everything is real including God, hell and what have you" but in the physical world, we don't see these things as tangible.

Heaven should in fact not even be the goal because the Bible says that Jesus returns with ALL his saints during the millenium reign. The earth wasn't created not to be inhabited as one verse said. As a matter of fact, we are even told that blessed are the meek for they SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH. If heaven was the original goal, why didn't we immediately go there when we became born again? It's time we begin to see that God placed us here on earth to advance the kingdom of heaven on earth. Thats why He made us kings and priests because in heaven we can't definitely be a king who do we rule over in heaven and who do we preist over there? Like the Bible said, heaven is my throne and earth my footstool...
