They're worried.

It's okay if everyone goes their separate ways but have you thought of what wld happen to northern Christians when Nigeria eventually break up?

Think about this.
Northern Christians are northerners.
They are northerners.

You have to think of your own people first before you think of others.

The best we can do for them is to grant them special Visa status to southern Nigeria and quick Pathway to residency.

You cannot help anyone if you are also in bondage.

Those northern leaders broke Nigeria with their adoption of unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system, but they still stick to one Nigeria because of lucre.

Islamic sharia criminal justice system includes stonning women to death for adultery, death for blasphemers, cutting out the hands of thieves, etc.
Northern military dictators who supervised the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria refused to uphold any inclusion of sharia criminal justice system in the Constitution.

These punishment systems are alien to the southern regions and unconstitutional.

The northern political and religious leaders urinated on Nigeria's Constitution with adoption of Islamic Sharia criminal justice system since 1999.
Nigeria is not one country; everyone knows that.
thank you.

The British government is rattled by the events playing out so far, managing Nigeria is becoming a big headache for them....

They've directed Nigeria government to report ipob by extension the igbos to Facebook regarding incitement....

The question is how far can the British go in handling and at same time managing their property called Nigeria

A particular section has even fought for independence. They are wiser. Their leaders then saw the future. They already know that the one Nigeria mantra is fake.
It's just for the economic gain of some vested interest.
That particular section sow the first seed of discord in the life of a very young vibrant nation by thinking they can control and outwit other tribes because they believe too much on self and tribal dominion over others.

....their treacherous and forlorn attempt plunged this nation into a civil war that taught them the real lesson of respecting other tribes, only momentarily though as their offspring are on the same destructive path.

i smell hatred

You first traded on hatred when you adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal laws in a society of people with different religious beliefs.

You knew the chaos that must follow your adoption of unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system.
The chaos followed: Boko Haram, its offshoots like bandits and armed herdsmen, young Islamic extremists, all gunning for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.

Before they ask a section of people to leave their states, they should have asked their people living in other states to return home first.
