1. Govt cooperate how? In this relationship, citizens part is to pay their taxes and monitor that the taxes are well spent. Govt own is to collect taxes and spend it. So cooperate how?
2. The taxes collected is NOT enough to meet our needs. Are you not seeing the infrastructure going on around you? Then salaries are being paid. The money collected is not enough!
Also, this tax is for a specific purpose. It is to fund provision of health insurance for those that can't afford. Is this not a noble idea?

Na true! Are we to stop travelling abroad for medical treatments?

This is a good initiative if handled well. The Obasanjo administration would keep mum about this back in the day because the funds will go into already full pockets.
