Google it, I'm sure you'll have to download a node JS extension from Vs code just like python

Try nodemon with NPX

NPX is higher version of NPM


first on your Colman line


"npm install nodemon --global --save "


Then


then on the path you're currently on try this on the file want to open


Assuming your file name is file.js


On your command line try


npx nodemom app.js


With nodemon you left code runs whenever you click the save button


Whereas without it you need to manually run the code each time you save
