French President Emmanuel Macron has said Ukraine would never have peace if the ultimate aim of the conflict in the country is to “crush Russia.”


The French leader said, ”some say that the goal of this war is to crush Russia. And that’s where I say you’re wrong. If you do that, you’ll never get a negotiated peace.”

Macron spoke with CNN affiliate BFMTV on Friday on board a train leaving Ukraine, adding that crushing Russia is not Zelenksy’s goal either.

“President Zelensky defends his land. And we want to help him do so,” Macron said, adding that “commentators or certain leaders shouldn’t push beyond even what the Ukrainians intend.”

“And so it has been the role of France to put a limit to this question,” he said, adding, “we have sometimes won the war and lost the peace.”

Macron affirmed France’s support for Ukraine and countered charges that his previous comments about not wishing to “humiliate Russia” had hampered relations with Ukraine’s president.

This Macron is very unstable. Did Ukraine invade Russia or is the other hand.
Ukrainians are only defending their land, just like France when Hitler invaded it

Unlike Ukraine,France surrendered in few weeks with less destruction.. Is not better to surrender and negotiate a peace deal, considering what will go into reconstruction when the war is over

If this News is Ukraine killing Russia general, between some minutes it will get to front page. But it other wise because marcon disappointed them. Maybe after one week Sha, it will hit front page.

I know many of you won’t understand this and may call him coward but he’s speaking the truth and nothing but the truth.

For the sake of EU’s long lasting peace, the war must be contained within Ukrainian territory and that’s why nobody’s including the US is willing to supply Ukrainian army with a long Lange rocket/missile. Nobody might be saying this but this is the truth.

Also same reason why Germany is reluctant to supply its sophisticated weapons to Ukraine because of fears that Zelensky may decide to use its weapon on Russian homeland.

EU and NATO is looking to contain this war within Ukraine. Nobody wants a senseless war on their soil, EU still want keep the peace they’ve had since WW2.

Know this and know peace. Ire o!

1) He wants to gain support from Russia and isolate the Malian regime . That regime kicked French forces and the French ambassador out of Mali on the basis that those forces did nothing except cooperate with terrorist groups and plunder Mali's mineral resources ( gold, diamonds , etc) . Today the Russian military is helping Malian defense forces regain lost territories in northern Mali. The French feel their country was humiliated . Macron was to overthrow that African govern that dared setting a wrong example. He needs Putin.

2) He also want to keep working within NATO policy on supporting Ukraine.

Conclusion: The French are just working to keep their own empire alive in Africa.

Typical of the franc.. both WW1 and WW11 they ran away leaving their country for the Germans .. it was the British that always come for their liberations.. useless long kissers
