Its good to see a different side to Life, I dread returning to Nigeria, we are fortunate to see another reality. I am grateful for that.

I think some African countries are much better than Nigeria, at least one has peace of mind and some kind of order.

Truth be told nobody cares for anybody there ..once children reach poverty off they go to fight for their destiny...when You are old,they take you to old people's home which can be boring and not the best for an average African person. At home you have your family around around you . In fact you are at peace here than there ...we must however ask God to wipe out these Fulani killer squard who are presently making the nation uncomfortable..

My apartment building was robbed in Nigeria for almost 1 hour,they held everyone hostage,police did not show up.

Bross nowhere in Africa has peace of mind,No govt in Africa can guarantee that however its up to you to have your own peace of mind! even in the USA and Uk there is still not 100% peace of mind

There was an advert that ran about 3 years ago in the UK around Christmas time. It featured an elderly man sitting alone on a roadside bench, watching people strolling along the street: children playing tag, a young husband and wife with their kids, a pair of lovers, teenagers kidding around and laughing. Then the camera did a close-up of the old man's face and a tear came out of his eye and ran down his face. It was heartbreaking. The advert was from a charity, I forget the name, and they were calling for volunteers to keep old people company: read to them, have tea or just spend an hour chatting with them. I felt so depressed. The UK flu season usually witnesses a lot of death from old people who live by themselves. Abroad, whether US or UK, is a cold lonely place if you're alone. The US is better. Americans are nosy and friendly. British people, you fit de die next door, dem go just enter their house close door.

I am freaking doing count-down partner 3 yrs 8months I am collecting that Social Security @ 62 sells the paid-for house then buy a 2 bedroom townhouse. somewhere to stay whenever I come for a check-up.(Ain't staying at any Child's house) . God willing get my black ass to my house in Lagos Nigeria. The only thing I am going to miss is my College Football (University of Michigan) but with a VPN and internet I will resolve that issue. Your relatives? let them grow old first and see them say otherwise. You won't understand wot a lonely life at old age means over there, just indoor with birds making noise over your your roof and possibly a nanny coming to collect her pay every damn time.

Because the suffering there is not good for old age. Those type of people are selfish people who always run to the most comfortable zones and abandon their relatives at home.

When they are young, diaspora is their favourite. When they get old and begin to pay the price of the enjoyment they had, they will remember "No place like home". If you think they are coming home just because they love home, why did they wait until old age? Are they running from enjoyment in diaspora?

Most of the things you enjoy as a youth will not give you happiness in your old age because they are not what your body and health require in old age. Those people hardly get what pleases old age in diaspora. That is why they run home to search for old-age happiness. There are many reasons.

Suffering is not only about the struggle to make money. Whatever threatens your health or saddens you means suffering.

Even my sister in the US, has been telling me that once she gets old, she will come back to Nigeria to spend the remainder of her life. Folks abroad, what's really going on? Is there a harsh reality for the aged over there?

Am currently in the UK right now and I can tell you that loneliness and inferiority complex is what is killing most Nigerians here.I came in just last week and I have made a lot friends here.
If you do things with pure hearts and you don't have an average Nigerian mentality, the whites will like you more.
Moreover,some people can't cope being on another man's land for long.
As for me I can die anywhere I find myself as long as am comfortable

Even in the zoo, most retired men and women go back to their state of origin to settle. Before retirement, some are already building their houses in their home town or their state capital.

Na bad economy and huzzle fever dey make people migrate.

If all the states in nizooria were developed, very few people will migrate. Use the US citizens as an example...dem dey migrate? Highest they go on vacation and return.
