we get sstrong army alright. like the ones at 82 div in Enugu capturing and raping little girls. That is all the strength they have. The ones that went to liberia and ECOMOG came back HIV positive.A sure sign of their strength. If we had an army, they would have taught those niger delta criminals on speed boats a lesson long time ago. |

@PTH earlier known as davidylan must you be this dull? When professionals take military training where they are signed up as reserves, after this, do you think they would go back to their regular jobs or the government will fly them off to the moon? After people go on Short Service Commissions and make themselves available for future call up, would they go back to their ordinary lives or does it entitle them to a lifetime of lunar tourism? Please stop thinking with your hare brain. |

@PTH just for your information, I love smoking, I preach smoking, that's why I put a profile pic of me smoking. So if you think you're trying to get at me by mentioning smoking, you're only promoting in. You should download that picture cos it may not be there in a while. So what do you do besides eating? |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by PTH(m): 5:22pm On Aug 15, 2007 |
denex: lol besides eating i also engage my thinking faculties rather than hiding behind the computer screen to lie and make noise. What do ya do besides smoking? |

Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by denex: 6:56pm On Aug 15, 2007 |
Your thinking faculties or you mean your hare brain? |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by PTH(m): 8:54pm On Aug 15, 2007 |
denex: lol hare-brained is actually an english expression for dullness or a low mental capacity. It is not equivalent to indicating that you have the brain of a hare! Some hares are smarter than certain humans u know. |

@debosky, we have a maximum missle range of 1000miles so if any country is within this miles from Nigeria then that country is going to be in a big mess when they have a skmirsh with us. We lack organization and dedicated innovation in the society and army, so the fact of me going crazy with our army is just bull. Don't u think I would be more happy and crazy if we had all kinds of planes, missles and other stuffs MADE in different parts of naija? If u don't know, best believe i will. |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by texazzpete(m): 10:03pm On Aug 15, 2007 |
Someone said we have the strongest Army in West Africa. Good! God save us, however, if the Libyan army invades. We've got inferior hardware, incompetent millitary commanders and people who love their lives more than anything! |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by texazzpete(m): 10:06pm On Aug 15, 2007 |
naijaway: Missile? with a 1000 mile range? In Nigeria? Bullshyte! Three years ago, one Naija Chief of Army Staff was jubilating that they've started manufacturing Mortars and mortar rounds in the DICON plant. Mortars are little more than hollow tubes, and the rounds are easy enough to make, yet the guy was expectingus to be happy. Even homeless Palestinians make and fire Quassam II rockets. . . |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by debosky(m): 10:13pm On Aug 15, 2007 |
texazzpete long time no hear man! abeg help me tell this neophyte o, I don't know which military he is talking about. 1,000 miles?? In your wildest dreams mate the best they can manage is a 100/200km at best, and even those aren't precision munitions and are subject to great error margins the DICON's greatest achievement is the production of the OBJ-1 or a similarly named assault rifle, someone is here talking about 1,000mile missiles, do you even know what a missile is? |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by PTH(m): 10:54pm On Aug 15, 2007 |
Nigeria's 300,000 reservists possess missiles with a range of 1000 miles. |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by naijaway(m): 11:00pm On Aug 15, 2007 |
debosky, u think say this na jib and jab, ode, do u even know what we really have. My neighbor's dad is a top military dawg. U think is to import ur golf car back from wherever u are to oppress people that is our solution. U born fool, we have a reachable missle range in Africa. Stu*id. The problem is using it cuz we got hawks watching. |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by debosky(m): 11:05pm On Aug 15, 2007 |
ok oh, Mr my-neighbor's dad-is-a-top-military-dawg what does golf car have to do with this present discussion? I-man was right the Nigeria Imbecilic whatchamacallit association is filling this place with its recruits I confess the only golf I have driven belonged to my sister oh and my friend had a red one too a while back, but they've both been sold I can bet my last golf steering wheel and tube of tura cream that Nigeria possesses no such weapon. The top dawg must have been high on some marijuana when he was telling you this. PS Nigeria uses the metric system - why would he be telling you of a weapon with 1000 miles range? abi military uses a different system? maybe he meant 1000 metres, the noisy generators in the neighborhood must be affecting your hearing |

Why must u curse me out cuz I disagree with u, u must be an omata baboon or something. Meters or miles, we got shots for all ewu. Seun, no vex oh. |

I have been on other forums but Nairaland always gives me a workout. I laugh so hard that my abs are so tight. About this post one person said that Nigeria has the best military in Africa and another said that Egypt and South Africa is better. Which one is it. I love Nigeria to fullest but we can't be exaggerating to boost up our ego, it will get us no where. “Flattery is like cologne water, to be smelt of, not swallowed” |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by lovemajek(f): 3:07am On Aug 16, 2007 |
Weare still the best in West Africa. |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by debosky(m): 3:38am On Aug 16, 2007 |
@ Wendy we are stronger than most African countries, with the exception of South Africa and Egypt, whose armies are better funded and have modern equipment and combat gear. We even import Armored Personnel Carriers (APC's) and some other equipment from S/A, their weapons industry is well advanced such that countries such as Canada buy rugged terrain jeeps from them for use in Afghanistan. Naijaway i couldn't fathom what point you were making about 'oga don comot' or 'oga don come in' what does that have to do with the issue at hand? can you please ask Gen Snoop to tell us the make of these 1000 miles Missile? just to satisfy my own curiosity, thanks |

Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by spoilt(f): 4:17am On Aug 16, 2007 |
PTH: ha! i would probably be stripped and dragged by the hair and my head shaved with a blunt razor on their parade ground. (isnt that what they are good at?) but when real threat comes, a good number of dem cowards will malinger or bail. |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by PTH(m): 4:24am On Aug 16, 2007 |
we do have a good army at least thought. we just dont have the equipment as the idiots who were supposed to provide them prefered to steal the money. |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by spoilt(f): 4:27am On Aug 16, 2007 |
good army?where? those flat footed, overaged, unathletic, beer swigging , illiterate last resorts? please! |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by PTH(m): 4:36am On Aug 16, 2007 |
spoilt: those are the ones you see on Tv, the average Nigerian soldier is well trained and very fit. This is one aspect of Nigeria that i am at least positive about. One of my uncles was in the army so i have a bit of experience with the real soldiers not the fake bot belied generals u see on tv |
Re: Nigeria: Do We Have An Army? by Iman3(m): 5:10pm On Aug 16, 2007 |
debosky: Add Morrocco,Algeria,Tunisia,Angola and Ethiopia to the countries with stronger militaries. |
