When I came out of the bathroom the priest was busy chanting some mantras that i couldn't make out a word. I turned to look at him squarting b4 his alter & he was sweating all over his body. I wanted to tell him that I'm through with the bath but i stoped to look at him because he seemed to have been in a frenzy.In between chanting,he told me to go & wait 4 him in the other room. I didn't knw what was going to happen when he'd finish consulting his deity(ies).So I sat in a chair beside another alter in a different room,waiting for him...
No,the above is not the begining of d story.I will have to tell u how i got in there with the "sage" who's also a priest,visioner & has the solution to any problem u may encounter on planet earth. His temple is a whole flat in the top floor of a 3 storey building. This is the continuation of my 1st story (my experience with Olumba Obu). Taking up frm where i sat opp. Federal Neuro phsychiatic hospital, my story continues...

...I was suprise to see "temple of golden wisdom","Satsang", & hu in the sign board. Then the words of John 17:17 were quoted in the sign board "sanctify them by means of ur word...is true".
could this be the temple of golden wisdom i've been hearing of? But eckist don't use the christian bible,so how comes all this mixture? There must be something special in there,so i had to go in. As i trod the muddy lane,i had the feeling of someone who've discovered a new thing. I got to a 3 storey building beside the dirty road & asked a man in front of the building abt the owner of the temple,he directed me to the 3rd floor. When i got there the door was open. ...The 1st thing i noticed was the alter which was just like the BCS,with a pillow,towel & an opened bible. Above the alter where there should be OOO Picture were the words of John 17:17. There were white plastic chairs just like a church. But there was nobody in the room. Then i noticed the words "Satsang be the hu" pasted in the wall. This room was supposed to be a sitting room,there were three doors to other rooms. One of them was open but i couldnt see what was inside. I sat at one of the chairs at the back.I was just contemplating the mixture of this two religion OOO/Eckankar. I decided to wait & relax until whenever somebody will come out. Sometimes i slept off a little in the chair because i was very tired. I waited for a long time but nobody came out. After I've waited close to 2 hours I heard footsteps from within approaching the door,then the knub turned,the door opened,a man emerged...MORE STORIES COMING

...when he opened the door,he asked me who i was. Then he went inside 4 sometimes. When he returned,he had a book in his hand.He sat in one of the chairs & ask me to come closer. "You are here to inquire of ur destiny",he began, "u've tried & tried but couldn't succeed because...", he went on & on with occasional demonstration like any fortune teller would do when dealing with his client. When he finished speaking he ask me: "now tell me,why are u here"?
All the while i thought he knew everything,but now he was asking me to tell him why i come to his temple. Well, i told him abt my journey.
"Oh u came to see Rowland,there's no father in that place! The only one there is Rowland & what can he do 4 u? Even if they'd allow u to see him he can't do anything for u. He doesn't knw anything. Or u want him to employ u as a cleaner or security?"

...As the priest continued to exercise his fortune telling ability,I listened with awe. Finally,he said what i needed wasn't baptism & feast but spiritual X-ray. I'd never heard anything like spiritual X-ray until then,so I was curious to know what it is. He said the spiritual X-ray will cost N1000 only. I told him I had no money & he said he can't help. At some point I heard him use words like "self realization,mahanta,God's realization,soul travel". I knew without doubt that he was an eckist. When i revealed to him that i've mingled with eckist b4,he asked me if I made any effort 2 become a registered member,I told him the whole thing & there was nothing he could do abt it apart frm Spiritual X-ray. TWO DEAF AND DUMB BOYS
I left the the temple after pleading with the priest to conduct the spiritual X-ray,which he plainly refused except I pay N1k. So i went out to wait at the roadside 4 a saviour. After a long time I saw 2 boys communicating in sign language.Once i signal them they approached me.One of them asked why i was sitting at the roadside. After the conversation (I could communicate in American sign language) i followed the 2 deafs because the other one said his father could help me out.While on our way to his house a heavy rain poured down & we ran as fast as we could to get there b4 we're wet.

She recomended a place (prayer city) 4 me,which she said I could go & stay there till i'm able to return home.She gave me N100 to pay bike to the place,she gave me some cups of garri too. For the 1st time in my journey,i met someone who cared...

A LITTLE GIRL GOT LOST
I had to go back to BCS prayer line to spent the night because there was nowhere else.There was another round of heavy rain that delayed me on the way.It was dark when the rain subsided & i resumed my journey. I had to ask 4 direction to prayer line & that was when i met a little girl who couldnt knw her way back home.She was hawking meat since afternoon & didn't knw where she was. The person i asked 4 direction 2 prayer line also asked me to go with the little girl & help her get home. I was a stranger in Calabar & didn't knw the street that the little girl said she came frm. I had to ask people to help us get there. The girl said she's from Akpabuyo,but her mother's frnd brought her to Calabar as a househelp,but eventually sent her to go & hawk in the street. Finally i was able to take the girl to her house.I was soaked by the rain & was wet when i made my way back to prayer line.

...When i got to prayer line i was wet & cool.I looked for one hungry man & dashed him the garri that the old woman gave me. As soon as he spoted the content of the bag he went on his knees & gave thanks to Olumba! What! So this man believed that the garri was given to him by Olumba. That night i slept with the wet clothes but i didnt mind.By the time i woke in the morning i was dry & started my journey to wind of change temple.I went inside,sat in one of the chairs & waited 4 the priest. After a long time he came out from his inner room...

SPIRITUAL X-RAY
It was on my 4th day of going 2 d temple that i finally succeeded in getting N1000 2 pay him & the spiritual x-ray was due. He dressed in white & call me to come to the next room there was another alter in the room & 3 chairs in front. He took his seat & i took mine. He started by ringing the bell & said the lord's prayer.He took a bottle of oil from the alter,he used his right thumb to take the oil to my forehead,pressed it & make a sign of the cross.He did the same in my both palms & started praying. He started with the BCS pattern but he never mentioned Olumba.I didn't understand if he was praying or doing incantation. He said things like:
"arrive! arrive! father! Arrive from the four corners of the wall, arrive! arrive! From the crust of holy conquerors,arrive! Do no harm,do not destroy. My code is OOO (he said some numbers) hindu paraside,india. Arrive father..."

The man rounded up after instructing me never to join witchcraft or cult,neither should i attempt to set up a traditional altar to gods of my ancestors, "u will die if u try these", he warned. He told me to come back with some water taken frm a river in my village with specific instruction on how to go abt taking the water. I pointed out to him that there's no river in my village but he insisted that there's one.
"okay, u may take the water from a river in the next village after urs", he finally said.
Another area of disagreement was when he said i should take a bottle of hot drink to the eldest person in my father's family so that he could pray 4 me. "my dad is the oldest man in the family", i replied.
"No he isn't, there's another man older than him" he insisted. Since he is a spiritualist i didnt want to disagree with him anymore,maybe he knew my family & village more than me. There were many things he said which I won't like to write them here...STORY CONTINUES

THE PRIEST'S KINDNESS
I've been going 4 days without eating. The priest didn't bother to ask me if i'd eaten anything or have a place to sleep. It was on Wednesday morning that he cared to ask if i've eaten anything since i left home.Wow! what a kind priest! But u know this was after he's sure that i had N1000 to pay him 4 the "spiritual x-ray". He gave me food to eat.He started behaving friendly unlike the past 3 days. After everything he asked if i had a phone so as to communicate with him when i get home. He wished me a safe journey as i climbed downstairs & headed home. Initialy i didn't see any reason to go back with 15k to him. Everything could have ended there. PRAYER AT THE RIVER-SIDE
I had to get water frm a river in a village next to mine.The priest had instructed me not to allow anyone see me or ask what i'd use the water for.He further said i should go with a coin (1naira) & throw it inside the water after saying a silent prayer in my heart b4 taking the water. That blessed morning i woke very early & call my brother with whom i planned to accompany me to the river. We got there & everything went well. My 10L of water was ready to be taken to the temple for "purification",as the priest called it. I got the 15k ready & every thing was set. It was early October that i made my 2nd trip to Wind of Change temple Universe. This time i was full of expectations. I'd call him early morning to inform him abt the visit.It was rainy season & the Ik to Odukpani road was a mess. The public bus reached Calabar town in the afternoon even though we took off very early in the morning...LATER

When i arrived at the temple it was almost 2pm & i wanted ev'rything to finish soon because i had to return the same day. The priest was watching some nollywood movies because i could figure out the voices of some nollyhood actors coming frm inside the room. I relaxed & look around the room to remind myself of somethings that i've 4gotten abt the temple. It was still the same BCS/ECKANKER features. One couldn't understand the actual religion of this priest.He was half christian,half eckist,half brotherhood,half pagan; one cannot just figure out who he was.One moment u'll hear him chant OOO,next moment he will be calling mahanta & later he'll pray in the name of Jesus. U can't tell if he'd belong to some mystic cults.Infact,i've met his type b4,that one was a methodist christian,yet he openly talked abt his dabling in secret society.He could travel to a witchcraft coven & tell you the names of the witches & what they are doing.He could tell the names of ur family members the 1st time he sees u...

NEW KITCHEN UTENSILS
The priest returned with the many items he bought frm the market.He had a big plastic bag,full & overflown,such that he had to suport with his inside elbow to avoid the items falling off. Many of these were kitchen utensils. What for? He'd got some money to upgrade his kitchen! He bought some coconuts too. The last time i entered his kitchen,there were plenty coconuts,he gave me some.It's that day i understood that the priest feasted with coconut because he's been using coconut water to prepare the purification bath water.After that the fruits were his & that's the fringe benefit of being a priest. The priest set to work once he entered inside the inner room.I could hear the ~thump thump thump ~sound & knew he was breaking the coconuts.After sometimes he called me to come inside.I passed thru the spiritual x-ray room & went inside,there was a short coridoor that led to a secret corner that's at the farthest end of the house.Behold! another altar!...STORY CONTINUES

THE 4th ALTER
This other alter wasn't like the previous 3 i mentioned b4.It's covered with white cloth so i couldn't make out what it's made of. All i saw were plenty hand-written scripts scattered on top of it which i didnt knw what for.I can still remember the eckankar almanac pasted above the alter with the pictures of eck masters & their names.There must have been some other things that i can't remember. The priest brought the items b4 the alter. He poured the water i brougt into a white basin.I waited 4 him b4 the alter while he went to the kitchen & returned later. He lighted four coloured candles around the alter. He had something like inscence too & the room became stuffy. I'd had a mild asthma attack b4 then but the smoke in the room trigered it.
