I'm not arguing with you oga ...I said okay
Don't even argue with that clown.. Abuja is a life if it's own just like every state has a life of their own, you just need to connect with the right people to show you how the city works, not just roaming about aimlessly to one igbira woman's beer parlor and thinking that's how it is everywhere in that location/state.

Lol bro, some things no really need make person dey argue am, else you just buy unnecessary stress; imagine comparing Abj fun life to imo state. It's careless. I can't even engage a person that makes that kind of arguement.

For you are to enjoy Abj you must have money and mobility. Most people come to Abuja and stay in sub-urbs without going out into town; maybe live the normal beer parlor life and think it's Abuja. Drive into wuse, Gwarinpa, Maitama and central area and see if you have enough money to flex lols.
I can

Lol you no Sabi road at all. If any route should be bad and deadly, it's the lokoja route

You see that kabba - Obajana - Lokoja road, there were a couple of times when we were driving for more than 20 minutes and there was no car ahead or behind us.

This was a tense moment because as a driver myself, if I drive on a normally busy road for about 10 minutes and there's no car behind or ahead of me, I get suspicious and park. Something is wrong.

Our driver was doing 140km/h. I told him "oga, if you see any strange person or movement ahead that steps in front of the road, jam that thing and move on."

Thankfully, we got to obajana safely.

It's because people don't really ply that route unlike before. . They take the ilorin-mokwa route. That lokoja route is deadly and prone to attacks from robbers and bandits. 20min and no car in front or back of you? Lol I'll be a little worried

Why should you be looking for someone to connect with before you have fun? And you were talking about roaming about aimlessly. So looking for someone to connect with just to have fun isn't aimless roaming? Accept the fact that Abuja is a souless city. Just 9PM and everywhere is deserted coz everybody is already indoors. You drive several kilometers just to find a club or somewhere to chill. Abuja is not it funwise.

Kubwa has a alot of mountains but to hike and enjoy it, you need to find a group to tag along with

For nature park, checkout vitality park also known as central park , then magicland, and most importantly National Children park and zoo asokoro ( Asokoro has more sight Vis wild animals, large space with green area)

This is what I'm trying to educate you and @ samuel051 on. Why must you need money and car to have fun in a Abuja? It shows Abuja is soulless. And if you say it's fun , then there should also be life and fun in the suburbs not carrying money and car to gwarinpa and maitama before you enjoy yourself .

Someone in Lagos does not need to drive from badagry to VGC or ikoyi just to have fun. Right there in badagry there are lots of dope places around. That's what the definition of a fun city should be and unfortunately, Abuja doesn't meet that criteria.

It's because the city is soulless that's why you won't easily know those places but as samuel051 & StrafordSTONES said, make the right connect and network to know these spots. I wonder how you'll call a city fun but still have to network or ask around before you can know where to chill and have fun. There are fun places in Abuja but you have to ask like 15 people before 1 will know. The remaining 14 don't know.

You are absolutely right my guy, Imo state is more fun than Abuja, including Abeokuta and maybe Ebonyi.

I would have said women are like that but then I know alot of ladies who love to hangout and are constantly exploring the fun spots. You have to understand some people naturally love to stay indoors and there are people who are fun loving and outgoing; these set of people go out and explore. For you to discover any city, you have to come out, you can't stay in your house and think up the fun spots...I am taking a wild guess that you stay in the Lugbe, kuje axis...try and go out once in a while; visit jabi lake park, go to.jabi lake mall, go bawling @dooms, alotta lounges in wuse, clubs too....you have to step out or find friends maybe in your office who are fun loving and outgoing too.

I don't know where your office is located and the size of your pocket/ willingness to spend but let me give you an idea for this coming weekend.

After work on Friday, try and visit beer barn @ aminu Kano crescent close to Hustle and bustle; stay there till night and experience TGIF by fellow working class people, then if you are a type that clubs you can branch in crystal lounge....

Saturday morning, visit jabi lake park and exercise; you would see alot of people from different districts who came to exercise and have fun too. Similarly you can look for a group to join for hiking which is the most adventurous.
Saturday evening, visit jabi lake mall and hangout and see people (fine fine people, different from people you see in sub urbs)
Then on Sunday after service if you are Christian, visit Trukdero, here you can do bawling, then by 9: pm they usually start their Karaoke night which I believe you would like as a female. Then Monday Start your normal work.
These ideas I offered are because you are female, as for the male folks the fun differs and may continue in the night plus the ones in the day.

You are absolutely right. I am an indoor person, Once I come back from work I remain indoors except something is taking me outside. We enjoy electricity in my area, next thing is to watch TV grin

I even find it difficult visiting friends and relatives grin. I have been hearing of jabi lake infact I will go there and see how the place looks like.

My best and shortest route is ilesha - Iwaraja - efon alaye - erio - aramoko - ijero ekiti - ido ekiti - oye ekiti - iffe ijumu - kabba to obajana then head straight to lokoja. Lokoja straight to Abuja. Passing through Akure, Owo, akoko to ibilo, okene, Lokoja is a long route.

I wish you safe journey

Weldone bros. I be wan go Abuja hopefully next week Friday 23 February. Please, do you have an idea the most affordable price they collect, I might likely be leaving from express Berger long bridge axis...thanks
