May be. But as ukraine Army are getting closer to crimea through kherson, Russian ships are moving backward. Antiship missiles are cheaper than ships. I understand Russia submarine are critical threat but note that Ukraine are also getting more air defenses.
Russia military resources are getting depleted and sanctions are making it difficult for them to replenish their stores.

my last comment was very optimistic for ukraine but then;

if history should repeat itself, as the always-used battlefield strategy of retreat and scorched earth policy by the red army should come to play? Then its a very pessimistic situation for ukraine.

saying this because russia always retreats its land army just before winter during any fight whilst using airpower to inflict damage, and after the pre-winter retreat, they advance again. To this effect, napoleon, hitler and others that have battled with the red army will agree with me. Infact thats how these leaders lost their wars. History is my witness sha.

since russia have been retreating with scorched earth tactics in ukraine just before another winter, if this retreat is a ploy by the russian MoD then the picture is very grime for ukraine.
