There are more criminals in lagos than law- abiding people. In lagos that criminals would be robbing pedestrians in afternoon.
I guess this is another emotional statement base on nothing. You mean in Lagos, out of ten people you see, six are robbing the remaining four? Wao, this is strange.

Away from the usual LAWMA, LASTMA and other agencies payments for services and fines, LASG seriously increased the collection of taxes and fines ever since Bola Tinubu declared his intention to run for President. Its becoming unusual.

Lagos is just in its own league jooor. It's a country within a country. PDP will never rule Lagos. They'll destroy the State.

They should also do well to fix the bad spots on the Lekki Epe Expressway, particularly the ones by Ogidan and Majek bus stops.

Re: Lagos Installs More Cameras To Track Vehicle Certificates, Road Worthiness by Wisefellow(m): 10:14am On Sep 19, 2022
I applaud the state government on this move, however, subjecting private vehicles to mandatory test as pre-requisite to issuance of road worthiness certificate is unnecessary.

Private vehicle owners are responsible and do carryout maintenance on their vehicles compared to public/commercial vehicles. The commercial vehicles should go through mandatory test because of high number of passengers and weight of goods conveyed daily.

Lack of adequate testing centres lead to long queues of private vehicles waiting to undergo test and a lot of people, whom have done the test, complained about time loss in the process.

The state government should focus more on fixing the bad roads causing traffic gridlock, provide more test centres, mandate commercial vehicles and drivers to test, sensitize traffic officials and enlighten all road users on traffic rules and keeping the road safe.

Do United states and UK embezzle funds like Nigerian politicians do?This money generated is going to tinubu's campaign and to induce voters.

Why una dey always use one negative thing in Europe to compare to the many negative things in Nigeria? There are many untarred roads and portholes in Lagos state compare to the few ones in Canada.

Isn't it better to solve the gigantic problem of poor road conditions, road networks, inadequacy, exploring other means of transport already commonplace in other climes and strongholds of impediments to make the city more liveable?

Speak for yourself only bro. You don't know anybody's mind apart from yourself. Some may even agree with you just to avoid argument but on election Day, will do otherwise. You won't be there when they're voting. Ok?

Competing with what? You're very myopic, i was charged 20k yesterday because they my allowable time to do inspection expired after paying for the certificate. The only reason why I didn't do it because they don't have enough inspections center to take care of number of motorists in Lagos. I live Ajah and for weeks you can't get a space. Bribery too. What nonsense, i had to pay another 6k to get another referral and traveled all the way to Lokowe epe to have my car inspection done. After that i was told to drive 11km away to collect my certificate which I refused to go due to traffic. I lived abroad and it's far cry for me to compare the two. Lagos is setting up a transactional innovation for their pockets and not to serve us better. In fact, motorists from what i have known are traveling to Ogun to get a cheaper documents. Why are the private cars the target? All these taxi, transporters are also road users and can pose a safety problem to everyone. Don't ever mention that again. Go and learn how to use innovation to solve problems and not for moneybags like Nigeria

I just kept mute when I saw the guy's comment comparing those countries to Lagos. Like what? Because of ordinary camera, Lagos is now in the League of US? SMH. Lagos state government that is only working hard to enrich it's principal's pockets. I wonder what they'll do when they get federal might. All the people that are shouting now, they'll be the first to start shouting of hunger. We gather dey here make we dey watch.

Only one thing can make you be against this noble gesture. And that is hate. Are you Igbo or Yoruba ? The answer you provide is why you'd stare at this innovation n chose to hate or dislike it even with all it flaws.

Tell me any state coming up with innovation to alleviate suffering in Nigeria n tell why any human with a functional brain will be against an innovation such as this if it is not due to bigotry n hate.

The man never expressed hate bro. He only shared his experience and gave his own view based on that experience and observations. That's different from hate. Before you start saying I'm also for PO, I'm very much neutral at this point and may not even vote. I'm not for any politician. So don't bring any accusations to my side.
