You call this a pothole? Please, be honest, you snatched a picture from the countryside..
With the rot in the system, all they can think of is installation of cameras so as to generate revenue.

Roads like wemco, akilo, Ogba road are not well lit at night... Not even cameras to forestall crime.

Does this affect yellow buses, the MC Oluomo's boys.

They don't renew their vehicle papers.

No, it is for the soft targets that is the law abiding citizens.

when I traveled to Angola for something. I never knew the country was that beautiful. My friend told me to try and visit Botswana. Then I will understand what beauty is all about. When you leave this shores to other country's commercial cities. You will know what advancement is all about

Please transport Lagos population to Angola or Botswana... I want to check something

Where, how, did they arrest you on the road? or how?

Lagos needs more money.. Simple. When danfos and the thousands of yellow buses that move over 70% of Lagos residents are asked to come for test. Then, I will take them serious.

The whole of Oko oba., agege, there's only one inspection Centre.. Infact that Centre can't take 10 cars at a go.

Competing in what, Sir? In agbero or in sanity? Have you been to the ministries in Lagos? Have you been to the police barracks in Lagos? You didn't mention countries that fit that narrative but leaped to a gold standard.

What competition are you high and up about? ordinary camera? in 2022?

Look at how dirty the road is to begin with. Look at the safety protocols on a busy road.
Did you see the shrub behind the barrier?

The empty, pointless bragging is all they have. They know the truth.

Competing with what? You're very myopic, i was charged 20k yesterday because they my allowable time to do inspection expired after paying for the certificate. The only reason why I didn't do it because they don't have enough inspections center to take care of number of motorists in Lagos. I live Ajah and for weeks you can't get a space. Bribery too. What nonsense, i had to pay another 6k to get another referral and traveled all the way to Lokowe epe to have my car inspection done. After that i was told to drive 11km away to collect my certificate which I refused to go due to traffic. I lived abroad and it's far cry for me to compare the two. Lagos is setting up a transactional innovation for their pockets and not to serve us better. In fact, motorists from what i have known are traveling to Ogun to get a cheaper documents. Why are the private cars the target? All these taxi, transporters are also road users and can pose a safety problem to everyone. Don't ever mention that again. Go and learn how to use innovation to solve problems and not for moneybags like Nigeria

^^
They will avoid your post. After all, you have named names and given locations and times. These people are not equipped to deal with facts. It isn't in their job description.

They are on this platform to do a job and they are being paid for it. They are keyboards for hire, nothing more.

The trip from Lakowe to Ajah took me over 3 hours yesterday - a Sunday! Yet the VIS keeps issuing referral notes to the testing centre at Lakowe for motorists to go and waste the whole day on a routine vehicle inspection.

The government does these things because voters let them. The day voters are truly fed up they know what to do. That day hasn't come yet.

Only one thing can make you be against this noble gesture. And that is hate. Are you Igbo or Yoruba ? The answer you provide is why you'd stare at this innovation n chose to hate or dislike it even with all it flaws.

Tell me any state coming up with innovation to alleviate suffering in Nigeria n tell why any human with a functional brain will be against an innovation such as this if it is not due to bigotry n hate.

Rubbish.

They should also do well to fix the bad spots on the Lekki Epe Expressway, particularly the ones by Ogidan and Majek bus stops.

^^
They won't do that. Its not high on the priority list.

All the man hours lost on that road isn't an issue for them. The productivity lost, income lost, wear and tear on people and machines...it simply isn't an issue for them.

But the people of Lagos like it like that. They will prefer to die in traffic on that road than hold their governor accountable.

it's just too sad, those bad portions wouldn't cost too much to fix, wondering how long we'll continue to suffer.

The frustration was boldly written all over our faces in traffic yesterday. Hours and hours in traffic - on a Sunday, not even a weekday. No end in sight for those who live on that axis. They go through that madness every day, shortening their lives and generally living miserably.

And they have representatives, local government chairmen and a governor in Lagos.

When we are ready we know what to do. We are not ready yet.
