I realized my phone was stuck on usa 5G band. That's why i was getting low speed whenever i do speed test on my S21 usa variant. Now i've unlocked all the 5G bands on my phone.The person that said my phone doesn't support N78 band was wrong. If you need the tutorial on how to unlock all 5G bands on usa variant, contact me.You can see all the bands i unlocked from the screenshot, now my phone does LTE Carrier aggregation(CA) and i'm able to use LTE+. Unlocking all 5G bands is an advantage for someone that travels, with that the phone can use all the 5G networks available in different countries.

I am not wrong. Rather, all the reputable phone specs sites are wrong. Below screenshot is from GSMArena and it's same with all other phone specs sites like PhoneArena and the rest.

The fact that you had to maneuver your way around the phone to unlock the bands, shows that by default, the OEM locks the band in that particular variant. Therefore, technically doesn't support the band in that variant of S21 ultra.

I was in a moving car when i did the test and it was switching between 4G n 5G. Here is when i park the car and run the test again

Thanks. It didn't work for me though. I don't know if it's probably because I'm on Android 13.

I was on android 13 when i did mine and it worked. Hope you followed the instruction well. You need to download samsung driver for it to work.

It later worked sha. I had to update Samsung driver. I'm also on Android 13. I now have LTE+ & got over 100Mbps today on speed test on 4G. Hopefully I should be able to get 5G signal everywhere now.

Your phone will surely work with any 5G now and the boder around the 5G will be white

The ZTE MC801A deal by MTN is a steal.


It very expensive I’m surprised people are paying 50k with data for it, it cost between 200-250 here in the uk
I’m tempted to buy one with data and bring it with me whenever I visit hopefully it can be unlocked

I pre ordered mine and collected it 2days ago from mtn maitama office, Abuja. It doesn't have inbuilt battery, but backup ups power bank that last like 3hrs (5000mah)
How much did you buy it in 2022 ?
