The People In The North Don't Have A Secure Place, They Don't Have Good Roads" - Peter Obi

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, said the people in the northern part of Nigeria don't have a secure place or good roads.

The former governor of Anambra State said this during an interview with CNN on Friday, September 16, 2022.

When the presidential candidate was asked about how he would work with the North, considering the cultural and religious differences, he said Nigerians have gone beyond tribal and religious politics.

Peter Obi said that people in the North don't have a secure place or good roads. He added that they don't buy bread cheaper than the people living in the southern part of the country.

Again, he's running to the North to bow before the same people he insults relentlessly.

The thing is, the Northerners are not sentimental and emotionally driven, they won't say out loud their intentions and how to pay back, they won't go out of character to deny you the welcome mat or refuse to open the door for you, this is common courtesy and hospitality, the same courtesy, and hospitality that Obi and his supporters are not known for.

The North plays the long game, they are not emotionally or sentimentally driven, and they won't pay you back in kind openly in any way, but know how much you hate them, they know all about the horrible things, demining and derogatory comments, the bigoted and vile hostility against them and their people because it's all out there in the open, Obi and his supporters don't hide their disdain for the Northerners which is very sad.

How do you in one breath insult, abuse, and even kill innocent Northerners in Igboland then turn around to insult their intelligence by laughing in their face and seeking their political and moral support?

This is truly a sad Paradox fueled by cultural, collective, and societal hatred that is unhelpful.
