Why won't you fail, when they keep putting round peg inside square hole.

When students are seeking admission ,they say some sections of the country are educational disadvantaged, but when it's time to oversee critical sectors of economy, those that disadvantaged yesterday are the one to lead.

Why won't we as a county dance backward.

The Most useless news I have ever read in my entire life. So wish those that carry news like this will see no need to make it exist in the news space.
Had the news read; the education minister resigns for being a failure in office, which resignation came during an education counsel.
Period!

It's good to own up to your own failure...

Yes, it's very rare in Nigeria's political circle...

Hon. Minister, can you take a step further by doing the most honourable thing....RESIGN.

It will be a shame to admit your own very failure and stay put in office...living large on tax payers money.

Do the very right thing... Resign!

That's sincerity. Your principal and party keyamos wouldn't want to admit that.

So APC government has failed woefully in education. Waiting for another minister to step forward.

This same minister will debunk this news tomorrow that he was quoted out of context. No be Naija? grin

Buhari, the Monumental Failure, employs incompetents to fail with him. Those who said he's the saviour of Nigeria then, were failures (including Agbado republic, a.k.a Jagabandit and his Bokoharam candidate).

May afflictions not rise the second time...Amen!

Vote wisely in 2023
Vote Labour party.
Vote Peter Obi.

If u know say u no try , u kukuma resign naaa.
But no be for Africa.
A public servant can never resign willingly even if it is obvious he is a failure.
Their pocket is far more important to them than the responsibilities given to them.

UNESCO in September announced that Nigeria now has about 20 million out-of-school children. It noted that there were 244 million children and youth between the ages of 6 and 18 who are out of school globally.

According to the statistics, India, Nigeria and Pakistan have the highest figures for out-of-school children globally. For Nigeria, this figure is a far-reaching increase from the 10.5 million recorded by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in 2020.
The same way he cried when the cabinet was desolved after Mr President first term before he was reappointed. He has spent more than 7 years as Education Minister, and has started shedding another crocrodile tears. What a shame!

That’s very honest of him, admitting his failure. We expect that he should tender his resignation, but that hardly would solve the problem.

Nigerians are deeply enmeshed in economic woes by the ruling APC. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, recognized the complete failure of his party and his been disassociating himself from the failure of his party, while going about his campaign with the usual promises. Painfully a lot of our youths seeing the unending challenges, believe that APC/BAT remain their messiah. Certainly we do not expect anything better from BAT, with the Naira dropping to well over 800 in exchange for the USD. A bag of rice has gone close to 50,000 and the food of the common man - beans and bread - beginning to prove a mirage.

I am of the opinion that APC should leave governance, as there is no hope for a better Nigeria with them.

Aside from the minister, the President himself earlier in the year posited that he was tired and was looking forward to his return to his farm in 2023, but sadly he has refused to admit his monumental failure.

We need a complete change for better leadership. Our county is in tatters and we need to get it out of the hands of our vicious leaders, who only know how to tell lies, while eating in plenty.

I do not agree with those who say Nigeria has been set back under APC.

I completely agree that APC unfortunately did not take advantage of the goodwill of the people. APC only ended up inflicting misery, sorrow, sadness, poverty and hardship on Nigerians. The gains of the past have completely been eroded with very bad policies.

Nonsense.

He failed but he is sitting tight.

If this is his way of looking for sympathy, he failed again.

In the black man's world, people do not resign; I have observed with keen interest the number of resignations in the UK in the last 3 years and I have concluded that Africans in Africa do not resign;
And this behavior can only be traced to the docility of the majority of black Africans in Africa and the ruling class are only taking undue advantage of this.
