That's how they would all be recycling rubbish....they would come in boosting about how they could solve it in 3 months,4 or 8 years later, they will humbly admit to failure while proposing a better candidate for the job. As if they couldn't resign while at it like the nice UK Prime Minister. No, they must finish the term! Awon wereys!

The way ministers are appointed in Nigeroa should be reviewed.
Even if you want to give the position to a region, find competent people irrespective of their political affiliations and appoint

UNESCO in September announced that Nigeria now has about 20 million out-of-school children. It noted that there were 244 million children and youth between the ages of 6 and 18 who are out of school globally.

According to the statistics, India, Nigeria and Pakistan have the highest figures for out-of-school children globally. For Nigeria, this figure is a far-reaching increase from the 10.5 million recorded by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in 2020.

The Minister highlighted that, from out-of-school children which has increased during his time in office to challenges of ASUU and other challenges bedeviling the tertiary education system, he could not provide the needed solution.

Has he resigned? It's not enough to tell us. The honorable thing to do is to resign and stop wasting our time.

Adamu: I Failed As A Minister For Not Solving Challenges In Educational Sector

"Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, on Thursday, admitted that he failed as a Minister, as he could not solve several challenges he ought to have solved despite being the longest serving minister of education."

"The Minister highlighted that, from out-of-school children which has increased during his time in office to challenges of ASUU and other challenges bedeviling the tertiary education system, he could not provide the needed solution."

"The Minister who spoke at the 66th National Council on Education (NCE) in Abuja, on Thursday, also accused the states ministries of education of adding to the factors that aided his failure as a Minister."

Me:

The Nigerian Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, has no honor and history will judge him with that. He should have resigned. In the history of the Nigerian state no Minister of Education has lasted for 8 years except Adamu Adamu. And all Nigerian pundits will tell you that Adamu Adamu is the worst Minister of Education.

When Adamu Adamu became the Minister of Education in 2015 the Out-of-school Children in Nigeria were more than 10 million but today that number has increased to 20 million according to UNESCO. (NB: If children between the ages of 6 years to 19 years are not in school, they are considered Out-of-school Children).

Adamu Adamu should have coordinated the State Commissioners of Education especially those in the 19 States of the North to strategize on how to drastically reduce the number of the Out-of-school Children but he failed to do that.

The closeness of Adamu Adamu to Tyrant Buhari should have warranted him to pressure the Tyrant to increase the yearly budget allocation for the Education sector but this did not happen. What actually happened was the drastic reduction of the Education sector budget from 12.6% during the GEJ regime to now meager 6%.

Out of school children multiplied under APC government.
Poverty in Nigeria multiplied under APC government.
Terrorists, bandits, kidnappers and insecurity multiplied under APC government.

Solution:
If Nigeria's voters can eschew ethno-religious bigotry next election, send the conspirators that formed APC home.
