I don’t know but I feel waje’s team battle isn’t that great at least unlike season 3 battle.
I feel it was just there. Nevertheless, Faith and Marrs, Chika and Tejiri’s performances were great.

Though all the talents did their best, I feel Chika should be voted back for the live shows. He had a fantastic blind audition, amazing knock out round, and was great at the battles. I strongly believe he would have more great performances at the live show. It’s just sad the judge had to choose one out the two talents to go to the lives. I hope the audience would vote him back into the show.

Is Niyola's decision fair on other talents? 🤔

Not fair at all. Waje and Praiz could have done the same but did not because it will be unfair to other talents.

Any of talents she sabotage their chances could have made it to the finals or even win. Sadly, we will never know.

Exactly my take, now she’s left with no female in her team whereas they may give her a chance of winning.

She also deprived fans the right to vote their fave.

If I was one of those talents, no amount of apology would make me forgive her.😄

Also, I noticed that Praiz is always finding faults in every performance from this Niyola talents. He is always crying about flat note this or that regardless of how great the performance is. He is becoming a babad belle

I have to say I enjoyed season 3 much more than this season cos even though it’s a competition the talents performed like it’s a show (bringing their spices and uniqueness) and the coaches applauds more than they criticize.

The reverse is the case for this season, although it seems this season have more talented contestants but the loads of criticism from the coaches (most especially Niyola and praiz) is killing the performance, hence the nervousness from the talents

I totally agree with you. Niyola started the destructive criticism and the rift, flat note and whatnot right from the blind audition. Waje and Praiz keyed into it. Waje was experienced to know how to make it sound encouraging, but you see that Praiz, he carry am for head like gala claiming he wants them to do better.

I feeL this has caged the creativity of the talents and would rather do the rifts (I mean all those high pitch tiny sound they make) even though a song doesn’t warrant it to bribe the coaches since that’s what they like.

Season 2 still remain the best season for me. That season had great coaches that were less condescending, and great talents that were out there to enjoy themselves.

I mean the likes of Syemca, Idyl, Ebube, Jahtell etc gave wonderful performances and expressed themselves well without needing to do all those rifts almost all contestants now do. For instance if Praiz and Niyola had witnessed Syemca’s wonderful rendition of the “unsteady” song, they would been saying all those their flat note rubbish.

In other news, the voice Africa is starting this Sunday. It has the Yemi Alade, Awilo Longomba, Locko form Cameroon, and Lady Jaydee of Tanzania as the coaches.

Initially, it was only available on startime and on Airteltv. They’ve started uploading it on YouTube.

For me, it’s been below par. The sound system has been terrible and the language barrier seem to be a problem.

The sad part of it?
The same studio is being used for both the Voice Nigeria and the Voice Africa. I hope the sound system problem will not follow the voice Nigeria into the live show.

The organizers of the voice Nigeria this season has been disappointing. They called for audition as far back as March 2022. We are currently in April 2023 and they’ve not started the live show.

They’ve postponed the live show more than twice already. The sad thing is they don’t communicate any change of plan to the audience. This season has been somehow. Even the studio they are using and production value looks below par compared to what we have in previous seasons.

Anyways, Nigeria Idol is almost here. It’s easy to jump ship
