With all the hunger, frustration, hardship and more characterized by this government, if you still vote or support APC to retain power and continue with the legacy of Buhari, you need your brain checked ASAP.

That is if you even have one.

Don't say I didnt tell you. We warned you guys in 2015. Don't repeat the mistake again.

Hungry Man Indomie pack that was N80 before APC/Buhari is what I just bought N300 this morning and it was as though nothing entered my stomach after consuming it.

Hardship and inflation does not know tribe or religion.

Farm? Why is it that most of you talk like this?
Subsistence farming never really feeds any nation. You need modernized farming and without government inputs that's going to be hard. As at 2004 the EU was funding agriculture in the EU region with as much as 24bn Euro. Your own farmers are left largely at the mercy of killer herdsmen protected by the FG. Don't talk like this again, please.

I didn't say subsistence farming.

Moreover, I only gave reasons for why we are some of the worst hit by inflation.

Every country is witnessing inflation due to the Russia-Ukraine war.

Developing economies are the most hit because of our huge trade deficits.

I just don't want to sound insultive but boy you're really stupid. So if I want to farm now I'll get the farm tools and my crop seedlings and fertilizer for free abi? A brainwashed fool like you, how you defend your stupidity with so much confidence amazes me a lot.

Your mate are farming. They are fish farming. Some are into poultry.

Continue wailing on Nairaland, you excruciatingly stupid lazybones.

Continue waiting for government to spoonfeed your sorry ass.

That's not the reason we are hit by inflation. Is Nigeria not the biggest producer of rice, yam, cassava, etc in Africa again? Our inflation is caused mainly by poor management of our finances. Food is produced but a lot gets wasted. Will the poor farmers produce silos and good roads to the market too. A lot is wrong.
Nigerians are not lazy but the government is there to frustrate your plans. Na me know how much I've lost to poultry farming.

You are talking about food inflation right now.

But my post which you quoted was talking about inflation in its entirety.

Food inflation can be reduce with subsistence farming. South Africa is a proof of that.

Must we expect the bulk of our food from the North?

Well, I agree somewhat with you. When I had a poultry at a point I rarely spent money on meat and fish.

But the government needs to do more too, especially those lazy thieving governors.

Thank you all for your input but make sure you don't play any role in returning APC to power.

APC has no business in ASO ROCK come 2023. They should be ousted so they can go learn governance and can come back later on if posterity will still be fair to them.
