E dey happen. Just try and do your 2nd semester CO'S in 400 2nd and 500 2nd.

Know in your mind you are having an extra semester for the CO'S in 1st semester extra year so you would lose like only 6 months. Shikena!

Some people just hear say dem get liver problem, some na kidney, some brain tumor just like Dat! Dem never kill themselves, ordinary carry over you dey mess up. If I hear pim!

You are female right ? Because that would explain the weak mental overly emotional state .

You need to find out what emotional and mental strength means .jeez

If only you know the sheer number of engineering graduates with third class and ordinary pass doing very well especially in information technology. My friend, delete that thought. Your life is not about any certificate issued after a five-year course. Some got first class and got buried within the next five years.

Learn to see every situation as an opportunity no matter how bad or difficult. What they see as a challenge in the USA may be nothing in Nigeria, what you see as a challenge in Nigeria may be nothing in the UK. Think deeply about that.

Let me give my opinion from two perspective
1. Anything worth doing at all is what doing well. You wrote waec,Jamb and post jamb so as gain admission, nobody puts a robe on your neck to force you to be an undergraduate. I blame you for your carry overs,and wouldn't be surprised if you're a lazy bunch like 90% of Students we have in tertiary institutions today.
2. Nevertheless that's not the end of life. As far as you were admitted on merit,it means you have the intellectual capacity to have at least 2:2. So pick up your lazy ass,grab your books,have a time table to read, attend lectures,remove frivolities like unnecessary friends,boys or girls, partying or cultism from your life. You will rise again.
If you give it your all and still not excelling as you should,no problem,first degree won't determine your future,you can be anything you want,find your passion,learn the skill and make money from it
What I studied at the University is not what I'm using to eat today,same with my boss. And same goes for millions of people.
Find your passion,learn it perfectly,be the best you can, promote your skill and make money from it.

I don't understand...how does E translates to F? E when I was in school was 40-44, D was 45-49, and F was 0-39.

If you have 4 Es and I F it means you have just one carry over. The 4 Es would obviously affect your CGPA most especially if they're 3 credit unit courses, but you won't be carrying the courses over.

As for the 300l course you had an F, you can rewrite it in your final year. Even if you don't pass it, as long as it's a departmental course, your HOD can waive it for you so that you'll graduate with your mates.

So biko, don't kill yourself.
