Hello Ayorinde, there's absolutely nothing wrong you've done. If you look at the attached screenshot, you will notice that Anthony Village (encircled) falls within the areas on the waitlist. Some good friends on this thread had suggested using a location outside of this waitlist areas as your service address as long as it falls within 5, 8 or 10km (I'm not sure of the exact figure) from your intended point of usage. You can check this by using Google maps to estimate the straight line distance between the 2 points.

I know for sure someone who tried this method and is enjoying the service as we speak without any issues. You can try this out and then cancel the previous preorder thereafter. Cheers
Thanks for the response, it's now available at Anthony Village

For those having problems with their cards… Tried many banks, it did not work. I tried Opay card…Worked immediately. I was even able to pay manually before the stipulated day that my invoice would be due

I’ve been using my Starlink since the past 3months today I got a reversal of N447,097 with remark” REVERSAL OF ENTRY MC POS C'BACK “ traced it back to my bank debit from Starlink when I ordered it 3months ago, happened to be same exact amount but my Starlink still works fine and I haven’t gotten an email from them…. Am I the only one ? Or there are others who have experienced this

So how long did it take for your Starlink to arrive ? And which state are you?
Re: The Starlink Thread by Snart303: 6:49am On Jul 24, 2023
I know a guy who hoards Starlink in his store in
Lagos and sells it to ignorant people who do not know they might get cut off someday due to area congestion and most of them might not even have their one month free subscription any long cause it might have been in his store over a month. No kits, what they do is screw that Starlink floor-stand (the one that comes with the Starlink) to the roof .. Nigerians have started abusing the privilege

Typically within two weeks. If you're lucky, it might ship within a day or two, that is if they have stock available in Lagos.

Can I use it to place an order for the Starlink hardware?
Re: The Starlink Thread by Watcharena: 11:51am On Aug 01, 2023
Please I want to confirmed something :

1) the shipping address I'm using to place the order for my starlink hardware parkage must it be the same address I'm to use when installing it or I can send it to a different state entirely for use within Nigeria ?

2). The billing information I'm using to place the order must it be the same person's account that will be used for monthly subscription or the account can be changed ?

In essence can I buy it for a 3rd party who is not residing in my state ?

No you cant. Opay does not support international transactions. Playstore transactions is actually an international transaction. Starlink payment is a local transaction. Meaning starlink actually has a Nigerian bank account that the money goes to so it is a local transaction.
Re: The Starlink Thread by easyyoke: 4:59pm On Aug 01, 2023
Guys, I think Starlink was actually very wise to make their subscription fee 38K from December. Dollar is now 890. $42 x 890 is actually N37,380. So it was as if they had already done a forecast of dollar increasing and they had done their assignment properly. But I am thinking, dollar may cross the N900 mark by December. Will this mean they will increase the subscription fee again in naira?

Yes, you can. I've been using Opay Verve card on Play store for over 2 months now. Google and Verve made it official last week. The charges in Naira are considerably low compared to the equivalent when it was in dollars

Wrong information. Playstore accepts payment using Verve cards

No, it must not be same. The service address can be different from the shipping address.
