Highest I've got is 270 down in Niger state near Benin République.

Not like we need all those speed sha, but it feels nice to know you can get to that level.

That kind of speed is not uncommon around the time he got it. I do get above 300mbps sometimes

Never seen that. Lucky you.
I use Roam mobility which isn't priotised like you people's own. Maybe that's why mine can only get to 270mbps

Nope.

Maybe Starlink has recently given you 1 month credit maybe as a compensation for a complaint raised previously.

Hi Folks,

What am I doing wrong, I pre-order starlink like 3 months ago, the message I keep on seeing on the dashboard is "Starlink is currently at capacity in your area, so your order may not be fulfilled until 2023 or later."

The address is Anthony, Lagos.

Thanks for the anticipated response

Hello Ayorinde, there's absolutely nothing wrong you've done. If you look at the attached screenshot, you will notice that Anthony Village (encircled) falls within the areas on the waitlist. Some good friends on this thread had suggested using a location outside of this waitlist areas as your service address as long as it falls within 5, 8 or 10km (I'm not sure of the exact figure) from your intended point of usage. You can check this by using Google maps to estimate the straight line distance between the 2 points.

I know for sure someone who tried this method and is enjoying the service as we speak without any issues. You can try this out and then cancel the previous preorder thereafter. Cheers

Is your platinum card dollar denominated or dual currency denominated? Also, in your dashboard, does it still show the dollar sign or has it changed to naira as it's in the attached below.

Does anyone know the best card to use to pay for a new starlink service. Tried a payday virtual card and a UBA dollar card and none are working.

The starlink wifi router is super fast and the coverage can go quite a good distance to cover the entire house. However, it didn’t meet my expectations in terms of Control and use. It should have features such as
Users management
* device block/unblock
* device data allocation
* parental control features
* content filtering
Etc

Best thing that has happened to me as a Nigerian is starlink

This answers my question. I was looking at placing it in an upstairs and each flat would connect.however I see it may not work

I heard more than 100, but I won’t wanna try that because the more the devices the less the speed . If you be placing it on a different floor you can connect it to Wi-Fi extenders I suppose
