I've heard people say that once we die, we go to heaven if we're good, and if we're bad, we go to hell straight. I've also heard about people who "died" for a second or two, and then they "come back to life" and start spreading tales of people suffering in hell.

So, what's the truth? When we die, will we stop existing, or will we immediately go to heaven/hell for our punishment/reward?

You end up in my stomach.

How?
You decay after death, and become manure to plant when buried.
The plant produce fruit off the nutrients your decayed body gives out to the soil.
I eat the fruit and you end up in my stomach.
I will die too and the process continues.



The stomach analogy is just to make the explanation easier to understand.
In other words, after death your energy is recycled and repurposed by nature.


No hell or heaven for you, your energy is repurposed and you stop existing as you have always done for billions of years, before being created by your parents.

When we die we go to the same place the candle flame goes when it is extinguished.

There is hope for whoever is among the living, because a live dog is better off than a dead lion. For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have any share in what is done under the sun.
