Amongst the 16m non indegenes of Lagos we have< 6m Yoruba > < 5m Igbos > < 2.5m Hausa and Fulani> < 1m ijaws and itsekiri> < 1.5m Togolese ,benninoise chadians foreigner expatriates> So. far Tinubu has garnered about 457,000 votes . Information reaching our desk indicates that over 40% of Tinubu votes came from Igbos , who out of love for jagaban and APC ,voted him enmass ; Thereby depriving their own tribesman the opportunity to win by a wider margin Most observers have noted this current strange trend and agree it portends good outlook for the future .. 1 Like |

They will never be ingrateful because during Tinubu's stay in office, he used tge State Government's funds to pay for NECO Exams at some years and WAEC Exams at some years to all Ss3 students across the state irrespective of your origin. A non- lagosian also became the one day governor by merit. And I am pretty sure that such can NEVER happen in your IBO land. Those IBO's who voted Tinubu are well exposed, not biased and God fearing. Curious345:You used Yoruba religion division (yoruba-muslim, yoruba-christian) against yorubas to logically used it to win votes for obi, but you failed woefully as Ekiti and Ondo that are heavily Christian states were first to knock down obi/LP with no-go-area as obi couldn't even get 10% not to talk of 25% despite peace of religion divison. Now, you are masquerading again to divide yorubas as foreigners like you in Lagos. Yorubas are not divided like igbos with division mindset. Any yoruba can be free in any south west states because they all come from Ife and usually unite together through their cultural heritage. Winning of obi in Lagos is because of Affenifere, obasanjo, some Yoruba artists and their supporters that made it possible. What he got in Lagos is symphathy votes from Yoruba leaders. Tinubu is the same person that acccomodated Igbos without being traibalistic and now that obi has introduced tribalism to Lagos politics, Tinubu has dribbled them to become president with wide margin. With Tinubu becoming your president now, LP can't win Lagos governorship again because people can't have opposition governor to federal level in Lagos having passed that stage in the past. This is how far obi can go in his political career as this formular of support from Affenifere and other yorubas woudn't work everytime. |
