APC Chukwuma Umeoji = 5,975 APGA Chris Azubogu = 45,369 Labour Party, Obinna Uzoh = 28,102 PDP, Chris Uba = 21,209 YPP, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah = 73,115 Thank you Anambra South Senatorial District for massively keying into the Consolidation message. The organic love and followership were massive. The entire city escorted the Senator back to his palatial abode after the declaration of results. When a friend called to congratulate me and wondered why the Peter Obi tsunami that swept through Anambra North and Central didn't also hit the south, I laughed and asked him to do me a favour and watch the live video on Senator Ubah's official page to see the people's reactions on seeing his motorcade, when the news of his victory hit the town. Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah has been challenged to do even better in the next dispensation and I have no doubt as to what he is capable of. This victory is specially dedicated to our departed colleagues, Late Mr Ikechukwu Odum and Goodnews Mathias. During the fracas at the collation centre last night, when the soldier raised his gun to fire at the Senator with yours truly standing beside him and then brought down the rifle and fired at the ground around our legs.
