I have a dream of a Greater Nigeria

Where people are not coerced, intimidated and some times harrased into making choices against their wish, where people live in peaceful coexistence without much ado.

The recently concluded general elections may not have met standards and what not, lessons have been learnt.

Any government that doesn't perform would know that the people are the real representatives. They would also know that if they fail, the people will always regroup and rebound stronger.

The government still have a long way to go through democratic ranks. And it hurts our image as a people.

However, let us collectively work with whatever we have been given. (Until and Unless a court of competent jurisdiction says otherwise)

Let us join hands with the government by constructively criticising when needed, given kudos when due without necessarily "@$$licking" and outright call outs when there's a need to.

We must desist from praying that the government would be bad because our preferred candidates did not win. Truth is if that becomes the case, we would even suffer the more. They have your monies and project in their possession as your representatives. They would only feed on your "vengeance" by claiming insecurities. Or do you think that monies are not been payed to all those constituencies that have been ravaged by terrorism for long?

Let us work with them with due diligence. The tune must be tuned as well. Too much tribalism, racial slur and all that negativity must be put aside for a time of retrospection as to what led to these suppression and come out with a better way to contain future situations or they would continually rip you at the polls. Any decision made in anger would most certainly be the wrong one.

Step back, take a deep breath and the picture becomes clearer.

The losers according to INEC, should "go to court" and fight their case and I think that the only way to go.
No matter what happens, the political stage have been given a major jolting. Things can never be the same again.

Congratulations to all who won one election or "selection" or the other in this general elections.

May you allow yourselves to be used by the better side of a better half of you. May your leaderships bring peace, prosperity for ALL Nigerians, security and infrastructural developments.

May impunity be gone and our waters be sweeter. May we be once again comfortable and proud to say we are Nigerians.

God Bless Nigerians.
