The fundamental idea behind cross-browser testing is simple. A new app or website should flare equally despite of the OS or browser.

For instance, a website that works flawlessly in Windows or Google Chrome might fail to do same in Safari on macOS. In such case, I would say that the developers haven’t tested much for the website’s cross browser compatibility. Such a case can decrease a website’s reputable and showcase it as an incompatible one.

Websites or apps combine JavaScript, HTML, and CSS aspects. And every browser has its own sets of capabilities, technologies, and limitations as well. Browser compatibility is the top-most issue that trouble developers these days. It is because multiple browsers and OSS interpret these applications or websites differently.

Hence, one has to make sure that it offers an identical output for every user when the website or application is reduced.
