Obi' files his petition with the following grounds and prayers:
GROUNDS AND PRAYERS OF THE PETITION

In the petition, Obi through his lawyer Livy Ozoukwu submitted that Tinubu “at the time of the (presidential) election was not qualified to contest the election”.

He further argued that the president-elect “was not duly elected by a majority of the lawful votes cast at the time of the election”.

Consequently, the petitioners are asking the tribunal to determine that all the votes recorded for Tinubu in the election “are wasted votes, owing to the non-qualification” of the president-elect and Shettima.

“That it be determined that the 2nd respondent ( Tinubu) having failed to score one-quarter of the votes cast at the presidential election in the federal capital territory, Abuja was not entitled to be declared and returned as the winner of the presidential election held on 25 February 2023,” the petitioner said.

Also, the petitioners have asked the tribunal to make “an order cancelling the election and compelling the 1st respondent (INEC) to conduct a fresh election at which the 2nd respondent (Tinubu), 3rd respondent (Shettima) and 4th respondent (APC) shall not participate”.

As you didn't see any good logic in the petition prepared by 12 SANS, and deduced that Peter Obi is not smart, you literally saw the SANS and Peter Obi as illiterates; therefore Tinubu who did not attend Primary or Secondary school but acquired Chicago University degree through dubious means, is the educated one before you.

I never said they are not smart. I rather hinted that he is not being honest with the youths who should be smart enough to see this.

How can you complain that a process was bad and that you want to examine the tools that were used for the process (bvas), then you examine the bvas as requested, and then you go to court and make no single argument relating to the process?

Probably they have seen that there was no tampering with the bvas after all!

Why not come out and tell your fans that truly the process was not as bad as you thought but you will fight for your mandate differently?

And if you think opposing Obi makes one a fan of Tinubu I have no words for you either.

FYI no 3. Is a pre election matter and should have been dispensed with before election....it will be the first prayer to be struck out

If 25% is so important, then any candidate can just concentrate on Abuja and make sure by hook or by crook other candidate don’t have 25%.

So if you like win the remaining 36 states, if I can win only FCT, I will continue to force INEC rerun everytime.

Very few will see the smartness in these prayers, it is common knowledge that the apc would have covered their tracks from the rigging hence it will be futile to tow that path but rather tow a path that is very very less expected. Trust me this must have caught the respondents unaware. Now it’s time to sit back and watch how it unfolds.

Ps: I’m neither an Apc, Pdp nor LP supporter

How do you completely cover your tracks in rigging? Do you delete records of validated voters, and votes casted? Do you delete video footage? Do you wish away incident reports?

You never read the inner volumes of the petition. Even the poster said 5 points but hurriedly posted 4 points.
You quickly drew conclusion that someone was not smart. Now you added not being honest to the youths. You are on a negative campaign against Peter Obi. Go siddons, election campaign is over. You definitely campaigned for a near octogenarian who is mentally handicapped and who forfeited drug trafficking money to the US, to preside over Nigeria.

One thing is surprising to me.

In all his petition, he did not say the election was rigged. I guess he learnt he doesn’t have a case against the actual election itself and now he is extending his case to the candidature of Tinubu and Shettima and saying they are not qualified to contest.

His evidence will be the David Hundeyin numerous jargons of Chicago state and etc and that will be his ground of wanting the court to declare Tinubu not qualified to contest.

I thought he said he had proof he won the election and was going to show that to the world. He just made Tinubu's case very easy now.

As far as the Abuja issue is, Abuja is more or less like the 37th state of the nation but the constitution refers to it as the FCT and it has it's own uniqueness as such, part of which includes the fact that it does not have a house of assembly or a governor. However Abuja has no special status such that one must win Abuja before he can be declared President. If that were to be so, what a candidate needs to do is just win Abuja alone even if he fails in 30+ states, it also means even if a candidate wins 34 states but loses Abuja he would not be declared winner.

That is totally illogical, only a zombidients can imagine such.


even Buhari did not win Abuja in 2015.
Obi is a stupid fool. we dodged a bullet.
