But some fellows celebrated him, claiming the so called policy will stop some politicians buying votes...
WHITELIGHTER:
This man finished Nigerians this year.
He brought untold hardship on us all.
Increased poverty
Rendered naira useless
His name will forever be remembered for the worst economic/financial policy to ever been made in Nigeria.

Right now, he has no political future. It's best he relocate to the west

Is there any law that says people must keep their legitimate money in the bank?
Re: Emefiele Apologizes To Nigerians For Online Transaction Failures (Video) by Berankis: 3:08pm On Mar 22, 2023
He evens speaks with no common, "I think it is currently being resolved"... "persistent ones are isolated cases". How did he become a CBN Governor? No wonder there is naira chaos in the land. This one lacks the pedigree of a Company's account officer let alone CBN Gov. What a shame!

By what this educated illiterate CBN Governor did with the Naira scarcity, he has and will encourage people not to put money in the banking system. How can you have money in your account at a bank and you can't get money out when u need it. Worst still, using Naira to buy Naira at the POS. What sense does that make?

The envelope collecting journalist can't even ask obvious questions at the press conference.

Keep your apology to your self and do the needful.

You have caused more than enough damage to this country with your useless money policy.

God and the souls of the departed you caused hardship on will never forgive you.

Wicked soul like you!

The Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit has the intelligence on individuals & corporates with high frequency of cash withdrawals so why not go to them SPECIFICALLY if you detect irregularities.

'punishing' everyone to get at those who you can identify doesn't seem brilliant to me.

I agreed with you.

Re: Emefiele Apologizes To Nigerians For Online Transaction Failures (Video) by blaise26abj(m): 4:58pm On Mar 22, 2023
Is it your money ?! Not everyone will keep their money in the bank . Some need high volume cash in hand for daily transactions . Some just don’t trust the banking system . Let them be .

Nigerians are suffering from the horrible system we operate . If EFCC reallly does it’s job , politicians won’t have stashed corrupt funds . If the banks really did their jobs , they won’t be carrying hundreds of millions to politicians . If the police worked , rigging of election will be stamped out . But one man will come out with a policy to solve the problems while ignoring the system that will make it fail thus unleashing untold hardship on people . It is horrid .

I don't usually post beyond the 1st page, however, Mr Emefiele needs to be addressed for the issues he's put Nigerians through.

In some other climes, he should be getting ready to face a panel of inquiry to explain not only the monetary policy but also, the refusal to obey Supreme court orders.

I'm particularly interested in knowing Emefiele's end game. He's got to have something solid planned!
