Since you're too lazy to do research yourself. Lagos generates 77 billion naira monthly now imagine yearly and this below par infrastructures are what we are boasting of.

You see you don't have sense. A solar project that generates IGW not megawatts oooo needs a very massive amount of Land more than the size of Surulere. Africa's Largest solar plant in Egypt that generates more than 100MW has land that is twice that of surulere not to talk of 1GW. Ahhhh the way these politicians lie ehnnnn even Ambode and Fashola that worked never jerrymandered to the media like Sanwo Olu. Haaaa!!!!! This project na another format to siphon money.

Are you sure this your quote is for me? I'm calling out the governor for offering little in terms of development compared to what Lagos generates monthly

Well there is nothing in principle in this plan foreclosing Wind power so saying BETTER is not right ,It would be additional ,not instead of and not the main component. It is not predictable or controllable
in theory,Wind power at its best would not ,alone be sufficient. It has capacity limitz
However ,in practice, the Bights of Benin and Biafra are not in the path of major winds. Being coastal does not automatically translate into significant winds
Ever head of any hurricanes in our coasts? The coastal incurving into those two bights means we do not have great winds compare to the PanHandle e.g

There is nothing like Bight of biafra (renamed as Bight of Bonny in 1967)

Bros it's wrong for you to quote an intelligent piece and talk rubbish. Nobody hates tinubu. What we hate is a sick president. I always say this is BAT was the man he was 8 years ago now, the Igbos in LASG would vote for him overwhelmingly. Look at OJO most igbos who stay in Ojo know the work BAT put in there..... but immediate BAT left those places where igbos reside have been left to decay. Go to amuwo-odofin the roads there(from festac to satellite town) is/has been very bad. Akoka main gate nko? From there to chemist Bust stop it's only recently(last year) that road was tarred..... Nigerian Navy barracks oJo nko? Till date the road in that entire axis is bad. So how do you want the igbos to be happy with them? Sanwo-olu should go to those places and work on them. Remember no dynasty last forever, but APC in Lagos can with inclusive governance.

The boldened part is just MERE ASSUMPTION from you. Lagos has been designed to succeed with projects like Banana Island, Eko atlantic city, LFTZ, Lekki deep seaport, Lekki airport, The railway project, BRT etc and nobody can take the govt to ransome which was clearly read to Igbos by Oluomo during the last election. Many top COUNTRIES in the world like Russia, China, UAE, Saudi Arabia dont joke with their culture just because they want foreigners to come and do business there. As a foreigner, try and mess up with Islam in Saudi and see how they will off your neck without listening to any plea by United Nations

You don’t need one source - you can harness from different sources.

All advanced countries have at least 3-4 sources of energy which they harnessed to generate energy.

The US has at least 8. UK uses 7. Russia uses 5. China uses 6. Etc.
Agreed, you’re right but saying wind energy isn’t controllable and unreliable is false and misleading. Saying it’s not better than solar is also wrong because in reality, the contrary is true, wind is more efficient ( there are a lot of scientific proofs and practical applications supporting this and they can be easily found on the internet too)
I said what I said to make him understand that the person he was seemingly mocking actually had a valid argument, wind is more efficient but also more expensive and noisy.

lol to over 50 million inhabitants! The entire SA population is less than that go and check how much they generates. South Africa spends 11 billions dollars on healthcare yearly! NIGERIA generates very meager amounts for over 200m people! You come tag am go London! Lagos can’t reach London in 100 years! If all paper currencies are dust no country will match UK’s gold pile. The country is gone we are never gonna match up! South South could have been dragging with Qatar if they are not chained to this nation. If only they can break away and and build ther nation! They will be richer than Qatar!

BAT is a visionary.

Children born with hate are quick to label him drug baron.....please compare with the one that ruled Anambra, Abia and Enugu for 8 years....what did they achieve even if they claim not to be drug barons.....gully erosion and heaps of garbage.....

They now want to import this to lagos through omoale GRV.....na God go punish you all ingrates

It's actually not new. Bola Tinubu started the IPP in lagos years ago. It was an Independent power project that was done in Lekki I think. Then Fashola continued and commisioned another. It's still in use till now.
They should have just developed more but Ambode kicked against everything Fashola.
Hate him or love him (BAT), I knew what lasgidi was like before 1999 and after, most especially Oshodi, where the roads were so bad, you needed to look for a place where rocks were arranged to cross the road or you enter the mud to cross and then pay some folks to wash your legs. BAT really tried.
If each person that comes into government delivers a major project, we will soon find it hard to get big projects to work on. That is a steady way to development. My own opinion.

Yes! Restructuring has kicked in.

Mixed energy power is the real deal.
Hydro energy from the Atlantic Ocean and a desalination water treatment plant to provide potable water for Lagos State is key.

If you guys can see the bull shit behind this there is no solar electricity market in Lagos. All na format. First of all to generate the kind of massive amounts of electricity using solar, you will need massive land for citing solar panels which would be large enough to capture the reflective light energy from the sun. This is just another format to funnel money, but because we love spectacles they will always deceive gullible followers. Wind every along the Lekki coastline would have been the best option and cheaper too.

I know you're pained because your fathers were beaten in Lagos on Saturday.

Lagos will achieve this and you offsprings of losers can go to hell.

For a coastal city like Lagos, harnessing wind energy from the Atlantic Ocean would have been better and more cost effective.

Be deceiving yourself there.
Which coastal city in the world is harnessed enough wind power to power its city?

Those projects cannot be cost effective also since we even have to import all the equipment. Even countries that manufacture those equipment haven’t created any cost effective power generation project

You are smoking dried cow dung. Check Egypt with the largest solar power plant. See the massive Land that was used. Lagos no get that kind of land. All this optics na format classic media propaganda just after election to show that he is the best. The project is at best another format to siphon money.

Now I will await NGF (Northern Governors Forum) on their master plan about the electricity project.

I like what oba akiolu(did i spell that right?) told GRV. He told GRV that he is for the future. Outside the Tinubu baggage, no right thinking person will say Sanwo Olu doesn't deserve a second term. Yes, I am a core Obi fanatic but still i hold on to the truth. Sanwo Olu is there best governor in Nigeria. Even the so called evil tinubu allowed him to run his government in peace.
Look at the lagos blue line Sanwo did. Those trains were meant and custom made for Florida in the US but the deal fell through. The company that custom made those trains had no where to offload them for 11 years until Sanwo came. I don't argue with sentiments. Lagos is for Sanwo and Sanwo is great for lagos.

This law will make it easier for communities to tap in quickly…

The transformation of oshodi was purely a fashola thing. However, Lagos has really enjoyed the stability of being a one party state since 1999, and Tinubu has also done well in coordinating things.
