I remembered reading like mad when I was in JSS 3 in preparation for junior WAEC, our principal was threatening us that if we didn't pass junior WAEC we won't be able to graduate to SS1 alas after all said and done, I realised that Junior Waec is the most useless exams in the world
until now( I mean right now ) , I never knew it’s useless grin

I still have mine.

Was perusing through my file yesterday and saw these. Nice memory.
Dad did a great job of keeping these for years before handing it over to us when we became adults.

Let's see how many still have theirs.

You for post your certificate for us to see.

Junior waec has only statement of result and not certificate.
The exam back then use to be tough, the essence why those teachers and principal use to vex muscles is because they want us to be serious about the exam and also, your result in the exam determines the department they will allocate you at the senior cadre.
Example:
If you don't have good result in maths, integrated science and introtech, you can't go to science department.
true talk. our junior WAEC in Minna when I wrote was a state-wide exam, same question, same time of writing. the nigerlites that did very well among us were sent to government science colleges, while those of us non-nigerlites that did very well remained in our school but sent to science class. i cried. i really wanted to do arts because i wanted to study journalism, my father do me "waka".

I still have this one. since July 2000, my proprietor had always typed "the increase in inevitable due to the prevailing circumstances in the country and no such increase is envisaged in the near future. Please bear with us"

and Nigerians think it's by getting married and giving birth and dying; is the cure to our problems.

You see that pry school certificate, it might look useless but it's when you want one govt job or political appointment you will know the use.

I was once selected as one of the best students in my school to go and write one special external exams at saint Georges school. Most big schools in ikoyi participated in that exams. Omor come see as Saint Georges full that day

After that exams and my common entrance na straight to holy child college o . Meanwhile my school was posted to Aunty Ayo girls but I dropped holy child because my twin was not there. She was posted to Aunty Ayo. My dad nearly skinned me alive when I said I wasn't going to holy child except my twin comes along but he tried to make me understand mine was a special promotion until I fall sick for him neck, my mama say, abeg no kill my pikin. LoL.. na so I follow friends go Aunty Ayo o but I later regret when we got to senior secondary, holy child girls come dey form for us. Omor na borti full that school o. Chai!

Nice to meet you jare.
