It is with Joy in my heart as i see the middle belt people of indeginous Northern Nigeria rising up to preserve their identity and breakaway from the domination of you know who...this will signal a new dawn and a change in order if this momentum is to continue, to my dear people of middle belt, ur invaders do not care about your religion as they continue to expand, an alliance with the South is your best bet, we must come together and reshape the Nigerian order... A New Nigeria is Possible with a South/Middle Belt alliance, i do not sincerely believe that The SW will abandon the rest of the south and MB to ally with the other people...

The Middle Belt Region is the soul of Nigeria, largest Landmass and Population, it is time for the middle belt to wake up, the different ethnicities unite irrespective of religion, take back your lands, preserve your culture, no more domination, ally with the South, ally with the south

Many Middle Belt people will be a little worried about resource control, given the fact that the South is the economic powerhouse of the country, this is where negotiations come in, the economy of the region will continue to be funded till they can be independent...once this is solved, i do not see any reason why the middle belt should not ally with south, for restructuring, for redrawing of maps, the states of the country should be redrawn, people of similar ethnicities should be together, for cohesion...all the middle belt ethnicities will be together in different states, the core north with their own states and leave other people alone, ethnic cohesion is key to Nigeria's growth and development

It is a good sign nonetheless, look at LP performance in the region despite the rigging, this is something that can be harnessed, there is also the South Middle Belt forum, if only this momentum can be sustained

Which time in history have Niger, Adamawa and Bauchi in your middle belt map ever voted along with Christians.

And there's Yorubas in Kogi but you covered it entirely In your middle belt.

you should understand the heterogeneity of this region and dont expect every ethnicity to vote in same pattern irrespective of religion, and u also add rigging to the mix, this makes analysis election data harder...but from popular opinion, people in this region are tired of their overlords..
The yorubas in kogi belong to SW, there's no reason for them to be in middle belt, same way the yorubas in kwara belong to the rest of their people, Nigerian state maps must be redrawn to ensure cohesion, we cannot forgo our ethnic identity because of Nigeria, Nigeria can only thrive when the various ethnicities have self preservation and see a path of growth and development, this in turn ensures the Nigerian identity can coexist side by side with our various original identity

You are late to the party the north west, north east, some part of the north Central, south west and some part of the south south have already formed an alliance. The south east and some Christian religious bigots in the north can keep playing religious politics

most people are ignorant of the potential and unlimited resources of the middle belt, its pathetic, there is no region in Nigeria which lacks crude oil,its all politics, diamonds and other untapped minerals are all over the middle belt, but the politicians choose to keep this mute so they can loot in peace.the middle belt is self-sufficient but either ways its good to collaborate with people tho.

while the tact of of your people to hold on power is commendable from a statecraft point of view, that power is shaky, every empire and order that is not well consolidated will collapse one day, you are in a union of people who will see to that, as long as democracy perseveres in Nigeria, anything is possible

were northerners and just like every Northerner we face some sense of descrimination and acceptance at some point in time. Even the core northerners do face it. But come to reality, the middle belt have the worst leaders in Nigeria. No single state in the north central has an outstanding governor. The best amongst them are slightly below average.
This has nothing to do with the core North you want us to beleive are our enemy.
Unlike the south, the north don't politicise our plight to see us as brothers.
Bro I'm from abuj and I rep North with my full chest.

the north is not homogeneous, there are lots of minorities who have been lumped with the dominant people there.

This statement of yours is why I’m against Biafra claiming any other state outside the SE; minorities would be dominated and eventually discriminated even worse than the current arrangement in the Nigerian state

Major mistake, the north has never claimed homogenity, it's the most diverse zone in the country and save a few places, those diversities are well managed.
