Please Help Me Out Nairalander's? by Silasloaded(m): 12:03pm On Apr 15, 2023
Goodday dear nairalander's
Few days ago I went to First bank with my sister union bank ATM to transfer money to a union bank account which she wrote for me, so when I was putting the account number of the recipient's account number I mistakenly pressed a digit (9) instead of 7, then at the process of the transaction the account number didn't bring out the customer's name (So it was blank) and I proceeded by inputting the transfer pin and what it showed me is "Invalid Account".
But the money (45,000) naira was debited from my sister's account
she didn't receive any successful message nor got any debit alert from her bank.
Please anyone with a solution to this.
Or someone with same experience can help me share how he or she got retrieved their money back.

Please I have already went to her bank to the customer's support and they said that they did not see the money in the wrong account nor recipient's account.
That I should give the bank headquarter to track where the money is and they will get back to me later.
