Vote buying is different from falsification of the results. If you pay an electorate for his or her vote, atleast the person has gotten instant reward for whatever he or she believes in but when someone stays up, sacrifices everything he's got to cast a vote and the votes end up been transferred to another is evil and anybody that supports it will know no peace.

It's not true. South can unite. 1999 Presidential election , Ojukwu was among contestants for President under APGA but South East voted for Obasanjo's PDP twice. Then voted for Yaradua /Goodluck because Obasanjo was fair with the region in appointments.
South East rejected APC because APC wasn't fair with the region if which you know.

The Labour Party (LP) says the All Progressives Congress (APC) did not win the presidential election but “stole” the the people’s mandate.

The LP was reacting to a comment by President Muhammadu Buhari that opposition parties lost the poll due to overconfidence and bad tactics.

Obiora Ifoh, LP’s acting national publicity secretary, in a statement on Friday, said “the president was “completely wrong to say opposition parties lost because of over confidence”.

He said the opposition parties lost the poll because “it was manipulated and rigged beyond comprehension”.

“The Labour Party is very worried and disturbed with the statement from the office of the President wherein he said that the opposition parties lost the 2023 presidential election because of their overconfidence, complacency and bad tactical moves, and which he claimed created more problems for them,” the statement reads.

“We want to point it out clearly to President Muhammadu Buhari that his position on the outcome of the said election was false, untrue, and it is not a true reflection of what played out during the election.

“There are several reasons why opposition political parties lost the 2023 election; the first is that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) snubbed the electoral act wherein it failed to upload the result from the polling unit in real time as promised and in disregard to the laws guiding the election. The INEC by so doing, created room for that election to be rigged.

“Again, the current APC president elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu didn’t win the election, because the said election, particularly, the presidential election was manipulated and rigged beyond comprehension.

“So political parties didn’t lose election because of over
confidence or complacency as proffered by Mr. President, APC, in collaboration with the various government agencies, simply rigged the election and rigged themselves into power.

“All of these put together. Do they amount to over confidence and complacency on the part of the opposition party? It shows that the President who promised Nigerians that he was going to give Nigerians a free, fair, and credible election simply failed in his duty in giving Nigerians the election they deserved.

“So, Mr. President is completely wrong. I believe that he was ill advised. It was erroneous for him to say that opposition parties lost election because of over confidence.

“In fact, Labour Party won the election but it was brazenly stolen by APC. Mr. President is aware of the fact that APC did not win the election and that it was stolen.”

If Tinubu was sure of winning without brazing rigging, BVAS and IRev must have been used according to INEC guidelines supported by electoral laws. In view of these, Tinubu stole the mandate. Supported by his party and president and state resources.

LP lost the presidential elections in the North because Datti had no electoral value like Atiku and Shetima!
How will LP win the presidential when it lose woefully in 17 states (namely NE, NW and 5 in SW) in Nigeria?

PDP did rigged during 2015 elections but Buhari still won despite incumbent president with the PDP!

Same Election LP got about 6 Senators and 34 House of reps which wasn't rigged.

All these fables being peddled are a mix of lies, cruise and ignorance!

Buhari winning was not APC winning. Buhari winning was APC bending backwards to secure power. If Buhari had remained in his party, PDP would still have won.

Atiku contesting the presidency only helped to serve APC's purpose. If votes were going to PDP with more "rigging structure" than LP, it was obvious that LP would have an uphill task when all they had was "people's mandate". In Nigeria, elections are not won on mandate. They are won by those with the biggest rigging di.cks
