Greetings nairalanders.

Earlier this year, a bill was signed by Anambra State government championed by the state Governor Prof Chukwuma Soludo on provision of constant light in Anambra.

Returning home.....I noticed a great change.

In Awka(stayed there two weeks) I do rate 89% improvement towards this bill. The only problem is that once rain falls........Oti lo!

But came back my hometown (Agulu) since last week..... and I can comfortably say that there's 91.5% improvement towards this bill.

So if you are currently in Anambra.....

Please tell us your location and rate power supply in your area

I'm happy with what Soludo is doing and even more happy with the pressure from LP that will ginger him more.Thats the kind of politics I like. With this, one can be sure that he will be re-elected with a land slide margin. But he must sustain it.

It is only in the Eastern part of Nigeria that people call out their governors for not performing.

I think other states especially the north should stop seeing their governors as earthly god.

Work and stop using states fund to send people to mecca and Jerusalem.

U cant fault me on that.

I was in Alhambra in December mainly during 27 - 4th of January. I was so impressed with the hours of light they enjoyed. I am looking at relocating there next year.

My friend was a dry cleaner but was living comfortabl in a flat. His neighbor was a keke napep driver and he too stays in a flat. It made me have a rethink. Maybe I just dey suffer myself for Lagos. Mind you, I and my friend graduated same year.

You must be an agent of division and hatred... Why not stick to the topic instead of trying to fuel another round of ethnic division and hatred?

If you're not in Anambra and you can't comment on the topic then shut up and learn.

Tell us your state and let's see how well your governor is doing instead of generalising bullshit about other regions.

I'm certain you're as rotten and corrupt as any public official in Nigeria. If it's a lie then tell us your name and place of work let's investigate you.

Rubbish

U are an agent of darkness.

I live and work in the north,I talk based on the situation on ground. Calling for what would enhance the people is what I stand for.

Has religion not divided u people enough...it is talk like this that makes people like u mentally stucked to the old ways.

I have never seen a developing nation in Africa who spends money sending his people for pilgrimage but education, scientific invention. The number of people sent for pilgrimage in one year can feed and enhance the education of the poor in the entire North.

U guys have been praying for the past centuries yet,u are still the most wicked nation on earth. With human development index at a horrible figure even with the essential mineral resources in the nation.

Well, for me I still stand by what I said earlier on,I like good things and I can say it once more, that the only region capable of calling their governors to order are the people of the south east region.

Speaking the truth do not kill.

If you are not a goat and if you don't reason like a goat, how's your submission related to what the op asked?

Why not take a look at the first rule on Nairaland? Don't derail threads by posting off topic?

You work in the north but you hide behind your useless phone keyboard to disparage their lifestyle and choices. Are you not a foolish coward for doing that?

I am certain you did not graduate with a good grade from school, if you graduated at all... Because you can't be intelligent and not understand that only foolish people post off topic...

Imagine someone doing a research on the issue the op posted only to see your dumb submissions trying to stir up division again...

How come your useless state governor couldn't provide or ensure an enabling environment for you to find a job but you got one in the north that you hate and you hide behind your keyboard to disparage them?

If you are such an advocate for good governance why not go to mosques and market places in the north where you reside to read out these your foolish outbursts and see if you'll make it home in one piece?

People like you are irritating

Igbos have money to pay bills. Electrity is no longer government largesse share by quota. Every other sector will be balkanized and decentralized and we will Excel. Only Enugu and Lagos distribution company are making profits according to report. Watch out for the newly created Aba Distribution Company that has a dedicated private power plant

He should have stolen the money instead? Note that the money was saved in three different banks. Go and study what is called "Capital Formation" in economics

He saved money when his people were dying of hunger... When Anambra was in an infrastructural decay.

The north call's out Thier governor's more than the East does, even Thier Senator's and Rep's, they even pelt them with satchet water and stones.

Believe me North East & North West governor's are doing great in terms of infrastructures just that there's no much publicity. Borno government that has been battling insurgency since 2009, Thier governor's have performed far better than some states in the east.
