Is Jesus God?

ANSWER:

Yes.

The word God is not the name of any deity. It is a title for any deity that people believed is in control of the heaven and the Earth. It is also used to refer to the creator.

There is only one God according to christianity faith whom Christians refered to as Father. According to the scripture, He was the creator of heaven and the Earth. He created everything. through his power know as Holy Spirit and his words. By his words" let there be" (Genesis 1:4-25 ) everything were created

According to the Quran God wanted a vicegerent on earth ( Quran 2:30) who will represented him on earth and In the bible Exodus 47:1-9God made example of how this will be done when he chose ark of covenant to represent him among the Israelites (1Samuel 6;1-3 ) even though it was God that was speaking to the Israelites from the lid of the covenant box (Exodus 25:22.) but what people were seeing was ark of covenant

In the scripture ,God made it known that he would not allow other that paraded themselves as gods to share in his glory ( Isaiah 42:8. )

Christians believed what were revealed by God through the prophets in the Holy scripture. In scripture , God chose his word by with he made all things and made him to take flesh from virgin Mary (luke 1:26-38, Quran 4:171,) and gave him power on earth and in heaven that all nations and , races and languages should be Worshiping him (Daniel 7:14-14 )

So , Jesus been the word he was the creator and By father given him authority that all mankind in heaven and the Earth should worship him . He is in control of the heaven and the Earth. By that mandate, God himself put Jesus in position of God because that was what make someone God as I had explained before. no other prophets had given this honor . Jesus is next to God , whatever he does it had been agreed between God the father and him and the holy spirit. Whatever he does it was God the father that does it whatever he says it was God the father that says it , because him and father is one (John 10;30 .)

Another example I can give on this to make you understand the relationship between Jesus who is God the son and God the father , is the issue of Pharaoh and Joseph. Pharaoh made Joseph one with him. He told Joseph

I will put you in charge of my country, and all my people will obey your orders. Your authority will be second only to mine. 41 I now appoint you governor over all Egypt.Gen 41:40-41

“I am the king—and no one in all Egypt shall so much as lift a hand or a foot without your permission.” Genesis 41:44.

Joseph was made a governor in Egypt. He was not give another kingdom by Pharaoh but he was to govern on the same kingdom pharaoh as king over. He was next to king but performed the duty of king and all he does was to the glory of the pharaoh. We were made to know that Joseph collected all the land in Egypt for pharaoh (Genesis 47:19-23)

Jesus too is not seeking his own glory but the glory of his father (John 17;1-17)

Jesus have both nature of God (word) John 1:14 and man (flesh) .

Now, we must understand that Jesus been God is not what we as humans being wanted or what we framed to be . It is not what we used our human reasoning to put down or what we used our humans sense of reasoning to know if it sound right or foolishness like muslims would say
"that it is not sound proper that Jesus who eat and sleep is a God , how can God be crucified? "Etc

but it was what God himself revealed to mankind . it was his plan , what he wants, what God is doing and what he will make sure it came to pass. We Christians have no power to say is good or bad . All we can do is to accept the scripture or disagree with it like muslims but we agreed on what God revealed and trusted all the prophets that he sent to convey this message. what they said were truly from God and we believed the interpretation of the Holy Spirit to apostles and that was the reason we had been called be

And God spoke to him as if they're both living in the same house.
Surely that's why God told the Israelites that another prophet will come in the manner of Moses who WAS a God in the midst of God's people {Deuteronomy 18:18-19} and Peter the apostle confirmed that Jesus is that promised prophet coming in the manner of Moses! Act 3:22
