10 Thoughts From Me On The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Epoch For Nigeria. by lorenzobanks(m): 2:47am On May 29, 2023
1. Insider activities and events show that Atiku Abubakar was actually the underdog of the presidential elections and not Peter Obi. He was supposed to be the beneficiary of a clandestine set of events which would have shut out a win for Asiwaju Tinubu.

2. The Muslim Muslim ticket was the trap of failure that fitifth columnists planned to hinge a Tinubu loss on. How was he, a Southern Muslim going to fly a running mate ticket? The expectation was that he'd go with a Northern Christian. This was his biggest dilemma.

3. Tinubu demonstrated uncommon political sagacity and uncommon courage in averting the trap of going for a Norrthern Christian. There was no way that that ticket would have helped him win an Atiku in the north. He saw through that and opted to go hard. Going hard was risky but that was his only way to victory.

4. The election of Bola Tinubu again has shown that Igbo people and Yoruba people are really not 'Southerners' in a strict sense. These ethicities have ingrained stereotypes against each other and which need to be treated. Many will be praying for Tinubu to fail in order to justify the current positions they hold about him but POWER is POWER. At this stage, it is deaf to sentiments. The groups need therapy.

5. There is no way that a Tinubu government will tolerate recalcitrant hires. The Tinubu that I have come to know is Disciplinarian and a Lion. He bids his time, he takes his time, he studies events across different dimensions and he STRIKES. Nigerians can expect decisive actions and firm decision making starting from the first week of the administration. He will be DIFFERNT from Buhati in more than a dozen ways.

6. I have my real worries about his health as much as I worry about even my own health. I see him needing rest a lot too but the Tinubu that I have come to know is not one that will rest in the middle of failure. I expect him to take his breaks but the progressivism we will see will be sufficient compensation.

7. I am projecting focus on the strength of the Naira and that within 2 years, we should be looking at the Naira plateauing at N500 to the Dollar. Could even be better.

8. Lagosians will understand what it means to be at the center in small, incremental but wholesome ways. Security in Lagos will be very enhanced over the next 4 years. Investing in Lagos will be very good now.

9. Nigeria will return to a respectable position in the comity of nations over the next 4 years as well. Security will improve and strikes will hardly happen at Federal Universities. I suspect that there will be a huge political crisis within 2 years as well hut it will clam out by the 3rd year.

10. The United States, will face China squarely now on Nigeria.
