20 truths about health I know at 60 that I wished I knew at 30:

1. Diets don’t work in the long run. Sustainable weight management requires lifestyle changes that you enjoy and find purpose in.

2. To maintain optimal joint health and avoid muscle loss due to aging, it is important to include strength training in your exercise routine.

3. Just because a medical condition may be genetic, it doesn’t mean you should just accept it. Take back control of your lifestyle and minimise it’s effect on your life.

4. Consistent exercise will give you more energy, not make you tired.

5. Weighing yourself daily can help you lose weight by making you more mindful of your body and progress towards your goal.

6. You don't need to eat 3 full meals a day.

7. You can stop eating once you no longer feel hungry.

8. It is important to develop effective strategies for managing stress in the workplace. Burnout is a real risk, and it's not worth it.

9. Building strong networks with friends and family is crucial for preventing isolation and improving mental wellbeing.

10. Regular health screenings are important to detect abnormalities early and guide you to adopting better health habits.

11. Don't worry about what others think of you when you start developing healthier habits. They may not understand, but that's okay.

12. It's important to take control of your hunger and not let it control you.

13. The problem is not about eating sugar, but rather consuming too much of it from highly processed foods.

14. Your body will change in ways you never expected. It's important to accept these changes and learn how to work with your body, rather than fighting against it.

15. You don't always need a full hour-long workout. Any physical activity is good for the body, even if it's just 15 minutes long.

16. As recommended by Dr. Arun, you must educate yourself about what you're putting into your body. Be sure to check nutrition labels on food items and compare different products.

17. Eating a larger meal earlier in the day, as opposed to later at night, can be beneficial for sleep and digestion.

18. Ensuring a good night's sleep may be the most important lifestyle habit you can adopt for your overall well-being.

19. Staying hydrated throughout the day can help with food cravings.

20. Reducing alcohol intake can make it a lot easier to lose body fat.

If I knew what I know now,I would have started hating civil service job and face business straight.

By now,I would have been a billionaire at 40.

But nothing spoil,I have set a target for my exit and do that business proper.

Good one OP.

21. For some reason, people who live the longest don't
worry about any of these things. They just live and enjoy their lives and naturally do things in moderation.

22. Longest-living people never "work out". But they usually have a naturally active everyday lifestyle.

23. There is so much to reality and life that we don't know. And so much we think we know but don't know.
And so much we don't know that we don't know.

24. It is important to always remember how little we know and therefore don't rely too much on logic or reasoning or even "science". Rely more on intuition and gut feeling.

25. Lots of times things are not what they seem. Don't make rigid assumptions based on appearances or what is projected.

26. Don’t trust people based solely on their title or what they say or their appearance. A devil can easily be camouflaged using those things.

27. Trust patterns in judging people and situations.

He can still be a millionaire. Its not about how hard he'll work but how smart he is.

Smartypants my foot. He is limited by the type of person he is, his habits, and his circumstances. And only hard work and discipline can overcome those

"I would have" is not a good way to live your life. You think you know now, but you really don't. People fail in business all the time. Also, a different path could have lead to you being dead by now - or imprisoned or hospitalized or any number terrible things. Consider that whenever you find yourself sliding into "I would have". Be thankful for the life you've had and have.

Considering the fact that he is a civil servant. Civil servants that I know have all the time in the world to make wealth. In my place, the most successful ones are the civil servants. Being in the civil service affords him the opportunity to multi task.

Because those are the only things that could have stopped him becoming wealthy

Wow
wow
wow.

I wish I knew before that there is lot of money in abroad.
Those that can work a bit harder get load of money.
While the "lazy youths" cry and lament endlessly of no money.

Guys that arrived abroad and hit ground running and work well have lot of money.
Many didnt go for first, second, third degree. They didnt even pass secondary exam well.
They achieve better than degrees holders that are lazy.
We should build a better nigeria where all hardworking people can succeed.

Doing more and talking less, being in the shadows, never being too available.

Most important, never be emotional about anything

Act like you’re not aware
Care less
Don’t help unless they seek your help, same with advice
If you don’t know what to do at the moment “wait patiently”
Take the wheels yourself and drive your life
Take full responsibility of your actions
